You will start to feel it after 30 minutes. You will be hurting in an hour. |

it really depends on how light of a skin tone you have. Normally, in the summer time, they post stuff like this in the newspaper and it becomes part of the news weather reports.
Normally, 20-30 minutes would probably be the average. |

Obviously it depends on your skin type. But sunburn in that kind of sun can happen in less than 30 minutes. |

If i remember correctly about 16-20 minutes in the peak sun times. Had many a sunburn in my younger day Ooohhhh the pain, fire, itching and peeling. Just wear sunscreen, you'll be glad you did. |

well in hell you can get one in almost an instant and ... still live on forever?- never mind, it's the bible. Anyway Hell is almost as hot as Phoenix so I'd say as soon as you turn your head into the sunlight when you wake up in the morning. |

That would depend on how fair you are to start with but for a typical caucasian with a medium complexion (between Swedish and Sicilian I would say about 20-30 minutes and you could start to get a very mild burn. In an hour you could have a rather bad burn |

That totally depends on your skin. Someone with really fair skin burns much quicker/easier than someone who is darker complected.
Just don't try to get sunburn, cover up, use sun screen etc. Sun burn = bad news. |

well it starts from 5 to 10 minutes but u can't see it...so if u have no sunblock then 30 mins to 60 mins and u should start to turn red... |

That is going to depend on the person and their skin-type. Nobody can give an accurate time-frame due to the variables involved. |

It depends on your complexion and the time of day. At around 2:00 pm in the middle of the summer, my skin will turn red in only 10 minutes if I'm unprotected in 118 degrees Fairenheit...just about long enough to plug in a hose and get the water turned on to rinse some mud off the driveway without any shade, longsleeves, hat or glasses. Burned just that quick!
In the early morning, I can go for a swim (the temp is already in the 90's) and get a light sun burn after 45 minutes of morning sun mixed with water. Phoenix sun is relentless!!! |

Hello,
For me no time at all. My kids say to me not to go out with my legs exposed or I may blind all those that look my way!
Slowly expose skin, and put on lotions so no burning (maybe), sun is over rated.
Good luck and be careful out there. |
