It depends on what kind of food you order. Disney World offers 3 different types of dining: quick service, sit down dining and family dining, which is typically a buffet or fine dining.
Quick service consists of hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches at McDonalds prices. Sit Down can run anywhere beteen $8 and $15. Family Style/Buffet or fine dining can cost anywhere from $19 and up.

The best places to find great food, however, are not in the parks (with a few exceptions). You will find the best food in the hotels! Bomas at Animal Kingdom Lodge or Ohana's at the Polynesian Resort have fabulous food!

The exceptions that I mentioned include the 50's Prime Time Cafe at Disney MGM Studios (moderately priced), and any of the restaurants around the lake at EPCOT.

Have a great trip and happy dining!

We spend nearly 80 bucks to just get hamburger and fries at Disneyland when we go. We are family of seven and we go about twice a year. What we have done since is bring our own lunch.

It really just depends what you are wanting to eat. If you don't mind a basic counterservice meal, you are looking to spend around $10 per person for something like a hamburger and fry. There are some counterservice meals throughout Disney that you can get for the same price, but are a little nicer, like baked chicken and such.

If you are wanting something a little nicer, such as Sci Fi, you are looking at closer to $20 per person. If you want something a little nicer, like Le Cellier or Coral Reef, I would estimate around $50. You also have to add in tips and things like that. Of course, there are even more expensive options, like Victoria and Alberts.

If you are staying on site, I really recommend getting the dining plan. It is around $38 for adults (the basic plan) and $11 for kids. Basically, the adults only pay for their table service meal, the counterservice meal and snack are basically free, because of the savings. You will save a lot of money with the plan.

I would say the very least you could spend is about $10 per person per meal, give or take a little and then you could spend a lot more from there.

It can be quite expensive. I usually buy the first bottle of water, then refill it from drinking fountains.

Another tip is to share meals. Many of the restaurants sell huge protions. We have never had problem asking for an extra plate.

For counter service meals we often get a footlong hotdog combo. (I don't really care for hotdogs, but when you want to cut costs....) then just buy an extra drink.

Another option is if you are staying at a Disney Resort, spend the extra money and get the dining plan. We have eaten at some really nice places that we wouldn't have been able to afford had we been paying cash. The plan consists of one counter service meal, one table service meal and one snack for each night you stay. I believe it costs around $35.00 per day per person. We went to some restaurants that the bill for dinner for two was well over $100.00. (This was one of the fancier restaurants that I couldn't have afforded) That was one meal, that same day we also had lunch and a snack for that same $35

It's higher than it should be. But you can use your "Yahoo Answer Points" for a discount. There's a reason for the points - right?

It is expensive..especially the character dining. If you're planning on doing expensive meals, such as character/luxury dining, I'd recommend the Dining Plan. Its $38 a day and you get one snack, one counter service, and one table service meal.

there is a range of fast food to fine dinning in all the parks.

Today I ate at a little walk up place in China (Epcot) the grilled chicken and rice bowl was 7.95, and 2 egg rolls were 3.50 I think. I had ice water so no cost for soda etc.

About the same price for a burger.

I hope that helps.

if you can sneak in a few hotdogs because those cost bank in DisneyWorld.
Mickey Mouse ain't cheap, he charges like a loan shark.

If you get a package deal ("Magic Your Way") and add dining for 38 bucks a day, you get a table service meal, a counter service meal, and a snack for each day your in the park.. 38 bucks isnt a whole lot when your talking food in Disney World..

if you want more information, you should go to www.intercot.com they have all sorts of disney world information.
