How much money should i bring to vegas if i'm goin for 5 days?

The beauty of Vegas is you can do it relatively cheaply or you can spend until the piggyback is busted!

If you want to eat at buffets and coffee shops, not gamble much and stay at an affordable place, you can easily have a great time for $150-200 a day including the room.

If you want to sample gourmet food, catch a Cirque show or stay at Bellagio, the daily total quickly rises. Most high end shows are $100-150 alone and any restaurant with a named chef will be close to the same per head.

I brought 2k for 4 days and I still had quiet a lot left over.....given that I managed to win a lot at the craps table and I basically had our vacation paid for. But I suggest bringing at least 4k-5k depending on your shopping, and gambling habits, not to mention your drinking and partying habits as well.

All-in-all like one said, bring enough that you can AFFORD to lose. Dont bring "scared money" to vegas or you'll be in deep boo boo.

If you plan on gambling AND going out at night, then bring $300 per night minimum.
If you have more, then shoot, bring more...you're the reason why I dont pay state taxes.

5,000. i just came back yesterday and lost 3500.00.:(
BUt had a blast. Clubs are really expensive to walk with @ least 300.00 for drinks an=d fare.

$3000 is about right to have comfortable fun but all depends where you want to stay and what kind of fun you like but no less then $3000, you would NOT want to get stuck here!!!!!

I would say it depends on what you want to do. If you want to go to the expensive places to eat, drink. , also if you like to play the slots. Set a limit that you are prepared to lose. Just have lots of fun!

that depends on you. are you going souvenir shopping, going to any of the shows? Are you going to eat at one of the famous chefs restaurants to eat or mcdonalds,are you a penny slot player or a 20 bucks a hand black jack? the last time I was in vegas, I brought over a few grand, for four days.

well i am only bring~n 600 bucks but the rooms are paid for so ya prop like 1200 1500 for your self i am going for the 4th week and weekend

as much as you can afford to lose.
don't think that you will come home with any, just be surprised if you do. Meals can be had pretty cheap at most casinos, unless you want the upscale restaurants, same goes for booze as most casino's will comp, at least beer and wine for modest gamblers, more for high rollers and whales.(super rich) make a budget of how much you want to gamble each day and add about another 150-200(daily) bucks for food, taxis and entertainment other than gambling like shopping and shows. you can do it much cheaper but if you can afford it, do it in style!

They have a new law in Vegas - you have to have at least $4,674.24 to be admitted into the city limits.
What kind of a question is that? Bring as much as you can AFFORD to lose and have some left to get home.
