I took 2 thousands. I set my goal on what machines to play and how much I wanted to play on the machines.I found inexpensive restaurants to eat daily.I went sightseeing at Hoover Dam, Ethel Mars chocolate factory and saw a show. In your hotel room there is usually a magazine with discount shows that you can see with a low price. Now I suspect you don't smoke but at the airport in the smoking room those slot machines are HOT.I made a little cash while waiting on my plane. I enjoyed Vegas and it is the city that never sleep. Take the bus along the strip instead of a cab, buy a 1 day pass and visit the hotels along the strip and wear comfortable shoes. Good Luck. |

Set a gambling budget and add at least $100-$250 per day for shopping/sightseeing and meals, depending on your taste. |

How much do you gamble a day is the big question. If you play craps and buy in for $300/session & play 2 sessions/day. Then you should be packing between $1-2k for gambling and $100/day spending money.
If you are conservative on the gambling & only plan on risking $200-250/day then you should be ok w/ $1000. |

if you go into the strip clubs about a grand a night plus food so i'd say about 3200 bucks should set you right |

As someone who lived in Las Vegas for many yrs., I can tell you. Do Not take more cash with you than you can afford to lose. Do not take a credit card ( it is too easy to use). Never go into debt just to gamble. If you stick to these rules you can have a wonderful time without any worry. You do not have/need to drive as the cab drivers are excellant and knowledgable about everything going on so no rental cars therefore no credit card needed.....Enjoy |

How much can you comfortably afford without going in debt. Depends on your budget. |

Las Vegas is very fun. You can see the world in one day when you go on the strip. You should take a lot of money if you enjoy gambling. If you are going to site see you should go to the Hoover Dam, and lake Mead. There are several malls which include factory outlets.....I think it depends on what you want to do more shopping, gambling or site see. |

i would stay with in a limit so you don't spend to more than you
want to but i would say 1000 a day would be enough and then some if your not a big spender 500 a day would do it to just play the .25cents and penny slots it just depends on how big of a gambler you are good luck hope you enjoy your trip |
