Please don't feel bad...it's a matter of safety.
I took my niece on the Powder Keg in Branson, MO; she cleared the minimum clearance by one or two inches. A few years later told me she was terrified because she felt her harness loosen and thought she'd fall out. Her more adventurous little sister was not tall enough then.
I'm 5' 9" (was age 32 then) and my harness loosened too.
Don't press the issue with height; if something bad happened, you'd feel horrible. |

nothing will work. The people that work there see this sorta thing many times a day and the height restrictions they set are for safety reasons. |

Forget it. The cast members are way too savvy for any tricks. And the height restrictions are there to keep people safe! Let him enjoy the rides he can go on, and tell him there's always next time.
Have a good (and safe) trip. |

Why would you risk your child's life by sneaking him onto a ride that he is not physically large enough to be on? Time is the only thing that will get your child big enough to ride, that is if your stupidity doesn't get him killed first.
ETA: CM's have seen all the tricks. Hats must be removed. Height is measured to the top of the head, not the top of the hair. Shoes with extra thick soles, heels etc must be removed.
ETA: to the answerer who said we are only talking about 1 in here so it doesn't matter 44-39=5... She wants to make her son 5 inches taller, not 1 inch taller. |

there are height restrictions for a reason, i would not attempt to make my child taller than he is--cast members abide by strict restrictions--sorry they know all the tricks~~~~~~ |

you could try a hat, but remember the height requirements are there for your safety. |

Don´t risk it, the height requirement is for safety reasons. Disney and Cast Members are all about safety, so nothing will work, sorry. |

this is in place for safety. It has more to do with the safety harnesses fitting them properly. Don't risk your son getting hurt. |

SO you somehow get your precious little boy on to a ride that has height restrictions. Thick shoes, tall hair whatever... and he fell out of the harness and injured himself. Would the grief, and guilt for the rest of your life be worth the few moments of excitement?
There is a reason for the height restrictions, |

unless you have tall people in your familt (genetically) then he wont grow that fast by next month! and try feeding him very nutritious foods (different kinds of fruit, vegetables)... how old is your son? |

If you grow his hair out and spike it up a lot that could help. Try putting him in thick water shoes, but don't make it so obvious that he will have to take them off. My little cousin had this problem at a water park and we had him practice standing up tall but not making it obvious and puffing his chest out. I would say that it isn't safe for him to go on the rides, but he is only 1" too small.
Maybe he will grow a bit :)? |
