Seattle is great if you can deal with the cold & rain. It has the highest suicide rate in the nation. I don't like Florida because of all the Hurricanes and illegals. Austin has been rated the number one city in the US a number of times, has tons of awesome music, hot girls, and good job prospects. I live near Seattle and like it because of snow skiing and the lakes...not the night life. You should choose Austin from the sounds of it. |

Move to some suburb close to the city. Get your different perspective but have the comfort level of being close to a big city.
Move to, say, Tokyo, Hong Kong or Shanghai and have yourself an adventure. Many services will pay you just to teach English. Go there for 1 year and see what happens. |

Your only in your twenties, and your bored, a new City won't help.. You need some new friends and new adventures. Fort Worth is a exciting city. Explore it, after you graduate then decide where you want to move to. |

Gosh.. you're near Dallas.. no good??
I hear good things about Austin.
I believe that Seattle is quite expensive these days.
I live in Orlando and it is newly rated by the FBI as the 11th most dangerous city in the USA.. life can be tough outside Disneyland. Because of this, Florida is sort of becoming a police state..everything is becoming a felony. A young girl is charged as a felon because she brought in a steakknife to school to cut her lunchfood. A 14 yo is being charged as a felon because he yelled "bomb" on a bus. Then the counties whine that they don't have resources for all the felons.
I'm in my 40s, but I don't think that I would have liked it in my 20s. I spent them in Raleigh.. not as citified, but certainly more civilized, not to mention a lot less expensive.
I'm a believer in staying near one's roots. That may seem ironic considering all the moving I've done, but housing was a beast on LI/nyc and I didn't think much of the surrounding areas. |

Boston is great!
for a less expensive alternative try LOWELL, MA (just 30 min north of Boston)
the city is full of big city elements, baseball park, arena, colleges, etc.
but it is not too expensive.

the folk festival is famous!!
Jack Kerouac is from Lowell and there is a bar called the Worthern House where Edgar Allen Poe used to hang out!! its also close to New Hampshire(30 min) for out door fun as well!
it is cold sometimes, but seasons are nice |

I live on the East Valley edge of Phoenix and in the Valley of the Sun there are 4 million people. Thank God they aren't all in the same place at the same time! :-) I used to live in Seattle ($$$$) and it does rain, sprinkle, drizzle a lot. However, there are 28 States that actually get more annual precipitation than Washington State. If I could, I'd move to Tucson which is about 1,000 ft higher in elevation than Phoenix , cooler, and a population of approx 500,000 happy folks. Short distance to Mexico. |

I lived in Orlando. Not that great. Very expensive. Plan on $800 a month for rent of a 1 bedroom apartment outside the city. Plus the Disney and Sea World and all that gets very annoying. |

I used to live in Ft Walton Beach Florida (Pensacola area) & I thought it was a lot of fun to live in the area. Pensacola has a lot of clubs, but the fun is in the spring & summer when all of the tourists come to visit. The beaches are fabulous! Orlando is fun for vacation, but it could get old real fast. |

Austin is a great city to live in! It has everything going for it, extremely diverse, tons of opportunities and some pretty nice scenery. It definitely has my vote! |

Why not moving to another country? You could try England, continental Europe or even Asia. In Singapore people speak English as well and you will broaden your horizon a lot. Asia is the future.
Who knows? You might even become a PT - Permanent Traveler. ;-) |
