I'm going to Cocoa Beach, FL tomorrow, hows the weather there? Is the ocean too cold to swim in it?

No guessing or I thinks here. The link above is straight from Ron Jons Surf Shop on Cocoa Beach. The water tempature is "78-82 degrees. Now that's plenty warm enough to swim or surf.

Good luck and enjoy

We just had a tropical storm pass by, it didn't hit us. It hasn't gotten that much cooler. Maybe a few degrees cooler, TOPS. This won't have much effect on the ocean. That's a LOT of water to cool down. It hasn't been cool for long enough to have made a difference.

Regards,

Brandon

the weather's fine here. Of course there's always that 40% chance of rain. Even though they always say this, it never rains.

Come on down, Brevard County's fine.

It's actually getting a tiny bit cooler here in Fl. The ocean may be a little colder than usual, but I think you might still be able to hop in.

Well the waves are really rough and there has been a lot of beach erosion because of the hurricane. water temp is about 80, but the outside temp is going to be about 80 as well, if your not used to really strong surf, i would recommend staying out of the water, not much beach at the moment either, so might be a waste of time. good luck though.

I wouldn't go to the beach this weekend, the waves are still really rough (at least where i am..2hrs north of cocoa) and we are supposed to get 8ft waves today, as of friday. Maybe if you go sunday it will be alot calmer. Temperatue?? the water is usually the same temp as the weather itself... so if its in the 70's the surface of the water will be in the 70's... thats cold to me. it gets cool at night now.. but in the day it feels nice.. a little breezy.
