You should bring sunscreen, umbrella, and a bathing suit. If you are a girl, then you should bring light clothes such as shorts and tanks. If you are a guy, then you should pretty much bring the same. Bring flip flops. If you plan on going out clubbing or going out to a nice restraunt, you should bring nice clothes. Bring your camera for night time pics and bring money to gamble and drink with!

Ok, since no one's giving you a helpful answer:
You will need both sandals and tennis shoes because you'll do a lot of walking. The casinos are huge and far apart. Don't worry about dressy outfits unless you're planning on going to an expensive restaurant or nightclubs. People dress VERY casually, even to shows or nice places. You will be able to get singles from the change machines they have everyplace; you need to tip housekeeping, servers, taxis, valet parkers, etc. Pick up the free magazines you'll get in your room or at the lobby for helpful maps and coupons! You will get carded if you look young, have your id available. You probably won't need a hairdryer; most rooms have them. (Check at the hotel website) Bring a small cooler with soda/water and add ice at the hotel; you'll be thirsty often and why pay $3-4 a drink? Carry a purse/bag that stays comfortably on your lap or wrist; you have to keep your eye on it at all times. Pickpockets and pursesnatchers are a problem. It's best to have info on getting around ahead of time so you don't have to depend on taxis. There's the monorail (www.lvmonorail.com) and a trolley ($2) and a bus and several shuttles between different hotels. If you're using your car -DO use valet parking, it's FREE except for a $2 tip on pickup.
Basically, travel light and the most important thing you need is information on where to go and how to get there.
