eat pizza, because unless you live in the tri state area (NY NJ CT) you won't be able to find anything like it anywhere else.
and deli food. mmmmm.............
i would just eat all day long.
ohhhh chinatown ice cream factory!!!! awesome ice cream, and i don't even like ice cream!

Ace Librarian
See the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Then take a bus (right in front of the museum) down to the Empire State Building on 34th St & 5th Ave. The theater district is on the west side in the 40s. Downtown is Greenwich Village, Chinatown and Little Italy. Below that is the Wall Street area. You can take a ride on the Staten Island ferry (for free I believe). It gives you a great view of the Statue of Liberty and the NY skyline. There are lots of other museums and theaters to go to if you have the time and money.

Deuce
you should get a pass on the double decker bus and see the city. you can get on and off some whenever the urge strikes you. you should see greenwhich village, soho, the meatpacking district (at night), mid-town (rockfeller center) such as the ice rink, saks fifth avenue, st. patrick's church, the MOMA museum, the metropolitan museum.
