ME

I'm going to SAN DIEGO next week?

What places do you recommend for dining, entertainment and music? I'm in my mid twenties and like margaritas, hip hop, dancing and relaxed environments.

The best margaritas in San Diego are at Pacific BEach Bar and Grill, I love them! I highly think you should go there. I went there for vacation in June and loved it so much I am moving back in May for good. I think you should take a day trip up to LA, and visit all of the spots, Rodeo, Melrose, Robertison, Santa Monica Pier, and everything! Go to Chipotle, its a mexican place, you will fall in love with there food, they also have great margaritas, and cheap to! Go to Pacific Beach to party party party, it is all young kids and college kids, Ocean Beach is all hippies, so go there if you like to smoke.....Go To TJ Mexico, for cheap cheap booze, I went for a day, and go totally smashed for 11.00 dollars, but please go with people who know the area if you go, and leave before dark, its not that it is dangerous, its just creepy and sad, there are these 95 year old grandmothers on the sides of the roads with there 100 grandchilden all around them asking for "mas" (money) , so have fun! I know you will .......

To hang out with people your age, you will probably like Pacific Beach. There are tons of clubs and bars, and it's less expensive than going downtown. Depending on where you're staying, you probably want to take a cab to the corner of Garnet and Mission Blvd. and then just walk around. If you like margaritas, go to Margarita Rocks on Hornblend St. They have like 100 different varieties, and they play hip-hop.

If you want to live the high life, head down to the Gaslamp Quarter (be prepared to pay $20+ cover charges and $10 a drink) and go to places like On Broadway and Aubergine. Some of these have dress codes, so dress up.

Tijuana, Mexico is the best place for all that you listed. Just dont drive over. Park on the U.S. side and walk over then take a bus to calle revolution.

Old Town is fantastic, lots of Mexican restaurants and shopping, live music in some of the restaurants. Stay out of Tijuana.
