I'm going to Vegas for the first time - with fun co-workers and spouces. For 3 nights 4 days - recomendations?

I'm not a huge gambler - the stacked odds against me isn't much fun. I don't mind playing slowly for fun.

Is there a place that people recommend seeing?

Any other requests are great.
(please no "What happens in vegas stays in vegas" comments)

You don't have very much time with only 3 nights. You won't even begin to scratch the surface. If you have not booked accommodations yet, I strongly recommend you do at a hotel in the middle of the action so you don't waste time traveling.

The major shows are great, a bit pricey but worth it. However, you had better purchase tickets in advance since it is pretty much impossible to get them once you are there.

Tickets for the less expensive shows are usually available (such as comedy store type things, celebrity impersonators or topless reviews).

The shopping is out of this world. My wife literally brings a nearly empty suitcase to fill for the trip home. There is everything from cheesy souvenir ash trays to Vera Wang and Prada.

You should definitely see a Cirque show- O & Mystere are the best but they are all good. Since you are coming as couples, you should hit up the Venetian- very romantic, makes you feel like you are actually there. They have gondola rides for a decent price. There is so much to do besides gamble- you can indoor skydive, shoot machine guns, hike at Red Rock Canyon, etc.
Check out vegas.com- it has everything - shows, attractions, dining, hotels

I would recommend staying at the MGM..It's a giantic motel with like 4 pools..they have the biggest sports book..so even if you don't like to gamble you can watch all the games!

There is an italian restraunt in Ceasars palace on the first floor that is FANTASTIC. (you can see where it is on the map that is by like every door when you come in)

If you look up online there are alwasy great plays that are showing. I highly recommend them and there is one for every taste.

Personnaly i like the service at the Venitian. (spelling?) the customer service is fantastic every time i go...

If you dig sharks and sea life there is a huge water thing you can go see and walk underwater while sharks swim all around you. there is a lot of other stuff other then just the sharks but thats the best part!

The big dam thing is there. and the view from it is AMAZING! i cant remember what its called but its like a 20 min drive from the strip. its georgous if you dig nature.

I dont know what do you like to do....

Fremont Street Experience
I've always liked Circus Circus.

Lyzette N
Try "dishes" buffet at T.I.
check out the watershow, across the street from Paris

Take a gondala ride w/your sweetie down at the venetian

Go to DelMonico's inside the venetian

Go dancing

Let the other half go shopping at the "fashion show mall"

Check out the street vendors
go take the rides off the side of the stratosphere, not for the faint of heart (pray to God it doesn't break when you shoot off the side of the building).
Gamble and don't loose all your money, peace

oh yeah check out a show, go to a fight, go on a helicoptor tour, go out to the grand canyon, etc.

see citysearch.com for more things during your visit, go to events and plug in your dates.

SillyRabbit...
make sure u go to fremont street, and even if u don't gamble its still kinda cool to visit all the different casinos...u can play the quarter slots! emerils restaurant has great food...its at the MGM. Go past the bellagio fountains...those are kinda cool. Go to the top of the eiffel tower, the view is great. The view from the stratosphere is awesome too, especially when the sun is going down, and there are also roller coasters up there too. most of the shows are great, there was one show at NewYork NewYork hotel, but i can't remember the name of it, but it was awesome and well worth the money. there is so much to do there, you'll have a good time!!!

a fabulous little bar/restaurant close to the strip that is called Firefly. I think Rachel Ray even did her $40-a-day show there. I would definitely go there.. sit outside if its nice and order tons of "tapas" or small plates to share and a pitcher of sangria!

Isabella
Make sure you eat at the Mandalay Bay buffet.

The hotel also has concerts by the poolside.

I highly recommend the water show in front of the Bellagio Hotel...........especially at night.
