I used to like the Luxor then they started playing with it and I no longer liked it apparently the majority of the building work is finished but when i was there in Feb thsi year it was not. ALso the eleveators and communal areas looked a bit grotty but you still can not beat that exceitment of coming out of your room and hearing slots and seeing the mezzane floor. I am assuming that you are talking about spa suites theye are awesome big two rooms and all in the corners of the pyramid so you get tow views in different directions. The thing that is against the Luxor is that the lcoation is just that little bit too fat up the Strip its linked by inside walkways to Excaliabur and to Mandalay Bay and you can get to Mandalay on the Tram but not Excaliibur.
Bellagio is great and by staying at Bellagio as well as quality room you get unparralled service this on its own is worth somthing, the quality of the room and furnishings is nicer and I know that manay people say well you only sleep there, staying in a nice property adds somthing (I have satyed everywhere from MOtel 8 to Wynn) the pools at Bellagio are so much nicer than Luxor. Bellagio is center Strip which is a plus.Be aware though the the shops and eating places are more expensive at Bellagio and you will spend more.
I could not say which would be better I think if it were me it would depend on hwo long i was staying if it was only a few nighst i would stay at Bellagio where location is more important if it were a week I woudl stay at a suite in Luxor as the sq footage is more important and spending time getting down the Strip is less important.
Anyway have a look at these links they are dircet withteh hotels it amy save you a bit of money.

I love the Luxor actually.. Bellagio has some awesome light shows and its elegant, while the luxor is more historic, old world with a great egyptian theme, and the rooms are incredible.
The cost to stay at the Luxor I think, being a bit less central on the strip, is lower, but the quality certainly isn't.

Both hotels are on the strip. The Bellagio is more in the center and the Luxor is toward the bottom. Both are great hotels, although the Bellagio is more of a luxury hotel. If you can afford it, I'd stay there, but the Luxor is very cool if you're into Egyptian stuff. |

Hands up for Bellagio. Location and also the hotel itself is much better IMO. Do you know that Bellagio has a special promotion running right now? Rooms starting from $149. Check http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com/category/bellagio/ |

Both are great placse. The Luxor is a pyramid and wild rooms. We enjoyed staying there. The casinos is short walking distance are Mandalay Bay, Excalibur/castle, NYNY, Monte Carlo, MGM Grand, and Tropicana
Bellagio is walking distance to Caesars Palace, Bally's, Bills, Tropicana, Imperial Palace and down the street from Palazzo, Venetiain, TI and Mirage.
I would do Luxor! |

Bellagio is just too damn expensive. Luxor is nice, but at the south end of the strip. I would go for Paris (sort of girlie, all that french stuff) Mirage is one of my favorites, Venitian is very cool and just as good as Bellagio in my opinion. Wynn is just crazy opulent in a more modern way than the rest. I might stay at the new Planet Hollywood this time just to check it out. |

Haven't stayed at either, but hear that the beds at Bellagio are worth every penny. |

If money is not an option, I'd stay at the Bellagio. You definitely get what you pay for..and why not spend a little extra money to live in luxury. I just spent 4 days and 3 nites at the Venetian...every room is a suite...well worth the money spent. The Bellagio is more in the middle of the strip and have plans on staying there next. Hope you have fun |

The new "CityCenter" is a major construction project that affects the South Western part of the Strip. See attached. Especially the two photographs next to the words "What a difference three years makes". The one on the left is the way the Strip looked in 2005 the one on the right was taken a few weeks ago. The Bellagio is on the bottom right of the photo.
For this reason I do not recommend either the Luxor or Bellagio. The Wynn is also a construction area with an entire second building going up called Encore. The front of the Mirage is a mess as they rebuild the Volcano in front of it.
When I was there a few weeks ago, there was a labor dispute affecting Mandalay Bay. Your best bet is probably the MGM Grand, the Venetian, Planet Hollywood, the Paris, Ballys, Harrahs, the Palazzo or the Flamingo.
Just be prepared for all the ugly construction and resulting inconvenience. |

Bellagio is newer, also more money. If you dont care about payying more, stay there. |
