I'm only 15. I need a job.?

I need a job. I'm 15. I live in Northern KY. Any suggestions on where to look? I'd prefer a job in the Florence area, Fort Wright, Buttermilk Pike, Erlanger, etc.

If you are looking for a job which is not as typical (or underpaying) as fastfood then I would recommend life guarding. It may not be the most exciting job in the world, but the pay is often very good. To become a Red Cross certified life guard 15 is the minimum age. Its a job you can get at 15, and hold until you are out of college if you need to.

It was my first job and I highly recommend it.

At 15, there isn't much you can do. Babysitting, cutting lawns, yard work, running errands for neighbors.. some fast food joints like McD's will let you work at 15.. Good luck.

If any of your 15-year-old friends have jobs, you could ask if you could work with them.

If you're only 15 and want a job...then go for something typical like a fast food joint.
I know it's not every teens dream job to just work in a fast food restaurant but what you're looking for is gaining experience as well as money.
But, it's not impossible to work in better places at your age. Sadly, I don't know your area but good luck with finding work.

I'm 16 and i'm looking for a job too. But last summer, when i was 15, only a couple places would consider hiring me. My best advice is to mooch off of ur parents for another year and then start searching. But if u want a job bad, some restaurants considered hiring me when i was 15 so i would say call up some restaurants in your area. I actually got a job last summer when i was 15 but it was diswashing job at a local restaurant and i didnt feel like washing dishes so i turned it down...lol but yea, call up some local restaurants

Babysit! Summer is almost here and MANY families need a daytime babysitter (and evenings and weekends too)....that's how I made the "big bucks" when I was your age.

These people above really arnt answering your question lol. Finding a job at that age is hard, i know! I may have the perfect answer for you though. Go to moneyforusall.tk or read a review about it at http://www.squidoo.com/moneyforusall . Its a great part time job for anyone 13+ and guarenteed will get your mom off your back. haha

when i was 15 I would sell on ebay all the merchandise i would buy in a yard sale. That held me up till 18 with enough money

I think 15 is too young to have to work. Do you really want to work right now? I know it is nice to have your own money, but make sure you consider everything, such as how much gas you will have to spend driving to work, or how much it costs for a bus to get to work......is it really going to be worth it to work right now? Also, at your age, you will want your free time and time for sports & stuff. Are you going to be able to juggle everything with a job? I think there are several places who will hire 15yr olds and hopefully you won't have to work much............a grocery store, a restaurant, and stuff like that are obvious jobs you could get, BUT it would be cool if you could find something more fun & exciting that would look great on a resume or college application to help you excel in the future, such as an animal hospital or a hospital. Figure out what interests you and search in that direction. Good luck to you and have fun being a kid while you can.......We get old faster than you think! Take care!
