You did not mention if you are retired or still working.
If you are retired, places like Sedona, Sierra Vista, Chino Valley are great...just not Job-wise.
If you still have to work, Tucson and Phoenix are the 2 major cities. Flagstaff is nice, very cold in the winter and only suitable for someone who works in the Hotel industry.

You can get cheap houses in Queen Creek but you will most likely end up with a long commute to work.

I <3 you!

Gilbert or East Mesa. Look for homes that have been foreclosed. You can get amazing deals. Or go for a home in Apache Junction

I would say Mesa, most decent areas, not extremely expensive and still relatively close to the city

I lived in Mesa for a year and enjoyed it. It was very quiet and affordable. My 2 bedroom was under 850.00/ mo.

Central Phoenix would be your best bet if you do not have any jobs lined up yet!

Rent is reasonable and affordable with everything nearby!

muhu92
well, phoenix is really nice. scottsdale is supposed to be the most livable city. tucson is extremely beautiful as well. if you wan't something cheap then some places in the outskirts of phoenix are really good. scottsdale and paradise valley are extremely expensive but places like peoria aren't as bad
