Well There was one time I didn't have the internet and I use the Library,SO hello...Why around Detroit? I would just make it a different place every night so people don't get use to you

try a meijers parking lot or a walmart parking lot that has 24 hrs. so if you need a bathroom there's one there

Finnegan Vegan Again
I lived in my car for a couple months in the Meijer parking lot at Telegraph and 12 Mile. Have you checked to see if any shelters have beds available?

BTW, for the scoffers, when I was homeless I went on the net daily at the library.

Best of luck to you.

Truck Stop, Rest Area, the WallMart idea is good. I'd avoid parks. Two kinds of folks like parks: cops and muggers. Avoid both.

Iguana
Or you could be using a wireless laptop.Know not no!!!!
Do yourself a favor and go buy a tent, and then rent a campground site till you get back on your feet. Keep your valuables locked in your trunk.
Island lake state park used to have a campground.

flying_pig
yet u still got internet?

just find somewhere out in the woods thats dark.

Why only Detroit, you have a computer?
It you are for real go to the burbs and sleep somewhere deep in a parking lot-try a hospital like St johns, be quiet, move with purpose

umm, well, sell your laptop!!!! homeless people don't need internet!!! dude, this is Detroit, good luck!!!! you might need to go to a suburb to be considered "safe" for the night.

It is kind of odd that someone homeless is on the internet but then again there are other resources for the net.

I had to sleep in cars and parks before and I slept where I was familiar. In front of friends/families houses or close by but never in the same spot, people notice that. You could also go outside of detroit and sleep on a side street in a more decent neighborhood.

Mopar Muscle Gal
sleep in your car in Hines Park or Rouge park

PENDRAGON
GIVE ME A ******* BREAK DUDE!

You're homeless, but somehow you manage to get access to the internet?!

Gia
1.In the parking garage of one of the casinos. 2.By a hospital. 3.Outside an homeless shelter. 4.At Chene park(down under Cobo Hall)
