Sounds like fun Kallila!
We go to Vegas every year for the past 8 and it's great!
We like to stay on the strip because there is no need to rent a car. The hotels range from cheap to very expensive. Try a search on Vegas.com and you can sort by price. I won't suggest one because everybody has different tastes and $. Personally I book the luxury ones cause my hubby gambles all day and I like a good spa. But the others are fine too.
Although price needs to be considered if you gamble alot, you should get a players club card and use it. They are free and last year all 5 nights and all room charges were compted for us at MGM. Even if you gamble a little they will give you some free buffet tickets or something.
If it's your first time you might want to rent a car for one day and drive out to Hoover Dam or the Grand Canyon.
If not your style - at the very least check out the different casinos! A person could spend several days walking thru each one on the strip.
Downtown is cool at night on Fremont street so try to check that out. I would not stay down there tho, it's not the same experience as the strip.
Have a great time !! |

Try the Stratosphere. Very reasonable and caddy corner to the Tram that takes you up and down the strip. You can usually get Friday/Saturday for $75 or less and any other day for $39. |

If you want to stay on the strip, i would say the flamingo was really nice i loved it, and we went around labor day and i think for 5 nights it was around almost 600 with tax.
We went through a travel agent and it saved a lot of money
We are going to California and trying to plan this out, but i think we are going to end up going with another travel agent. |

I always go thru expedia.com and when I compare they always have the best prices. The best moderate priced hotel I have been to in Vegas was the Aladdin. The Paris is another that is nice, clean and not as expensive. If you book on expedia and combine airfare and room you will get a better discount. The MGM grand has the best nightlife in a casino. They have great shows and Studio 54. Rain, Ghost Bar and the Playboy Club are also super fun! |

Not sure where you are located in the US, but we just booked tickets for March through Allegiant Air. They have great rates on flights and hotel packages. We went last year around March, and flew Allegiant from Wichita, KS. Flight was only an hour and 45 minutes with no stops. Check your local airport. |

My friends and I got a package deal on cheaptickets.com....we had a roundtrip flight from Texas and 2 nights at the Monte Carlo hotel for I think $350 ish. I don't remember exactly. It's a good hotel, but it's at the end of the strip, so if you don't want to walk a lot, you might not like it. |
