No passport required.
If you are super nervous you may want to take Dramamine;
it can help with possible feelings of dizzyness a first time flyer might feel and also has a calming effect. (you may not get dizzy at all, I used to but the more I fly the easier it gets)
Last but not least, yes you are allowed to stay overnight at the airport. (pack a few snacks as not many airlines are offering food anymore and the restaurants in the airport usually close down at night)
You'll be fine. |

A passport means you're leaving the country and Texas is in the country so that would be a NO. You have to be at the airport a certain amount of time before your flight. You might want to check on that to be sure. |

No dude, passports are only for international travel. Yes you can if the flights are not too far apart. |

Dont need a passport to go to Texas. And usually if you get to the airport early you can wait at your gate, but it is the most boring wait ever. 2 hours feels like a lifetime. |

If you are just staying within the country, I think that you should be fine leaving your passport at home :) Happy travels! |

You don't need a passport to travel within the US...
Don't worry about flying, millions of people do it every day without incedent, and worrying makes no difference at all to what happens, it just makes you feel bad.
You should be able to hang out in the airport til your flight, but they aren't fun places and I definately wouldn't suggest spending the night in one.
When I fly, I usually recruit a friend to drop me off, that way I don't have to worry about parking or anything.
And be sure to get there early, most airports recommend an hour before your flight, some recommend two.
Hm...and take a good book or some other form of entertainment. There isn't much to do on the plane and that flight will be somewhat long. |

yes you are allowed to stay in the airport till the time of your flight... but no you do not need a passport, however you will need an ID -a drivers licence or state id card would do. -wear shoes that are easy to get on and off when going through security... |

If you're not leaving the country you won't need your passport - unless you don't have other picture ID. You can stay in most large airports for as long as you need. No problem sleeping in the chairs for a couple of hours. |

Well, it depends on the airport, cause some airports allow ppl to sleep there just like the movie The Terminal And no you do not need a passport to go to Texas from New York, because its national not international :) Hope this helped |

if youre traveling within the united states[[ which you are]] then all you needis an I.D. example: drivers liscense, school ID, something along that line that proves your identity. you can stay at teh airport til your flight., but you only have to be there 2 hours before the flight takes off. but the airport closes for a couple hours each day, liek 12-4am or smtn, im not exactly sure. but yea, call the airport and ask them to explain to you everything you have to do, im sure theyll help you out. |
