1. Take a camera with you. It's a beautiful place and you might see something you like...like lions or dolphins.
2. Take a swimsuit with you. There's no official waterpark, but the hotels have very large and nice swimming facilities.
3. Watch a magic show. Watching a magician disappear from on stage and instantly appear in the audience is not boring. |

Have you actually checked what's in Vegas?
I've heard that it's starting to turn into a more family-oriented city, but I don't know if that's true. |

There are other things to do without gambling and drinking, www.lasvegasnow.com
You can enjoy many things like cirque shows. Mystere at Treasure Island, Love at Mirage (Beattles tribute), Kings Tournament at Excalibur, Adventure Dome at Circus Circus, Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, Star Trek Experience (two VR rides, memorabilia) at Hilton, 3 rides 101 stories up at Stratosphere, movies at theatre by MGM Grand, Scream rollercoaster at NYNY, bowling/movies at South Coast (3 miles south of Strip on Las Vegas Boulevard), etc.
I would agree that going will be less fun but if your family plans well, you will be fine. There is a curfew for anyone under 18 after 9:00 p.m. without parents though.
Good luck! |

Vegas is awesome!!! There is SOOO MUCH to do over there. Trust me even if you are under 18 you will NEVER be bored in Vegas. It's the place to be! I went last year and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It's like a totally different world in every hotel. The pools are amazing. Vegas is indescribable! Believe me you won't be bored. You'll love it! You should try doing some research online. Don't try gettting out of your family trip! You will have a blast in VEGAS :) |

I've got two teenagers, and they're always begging me to take them back to Vegas. I asked them if they wanted to visit Disney World this summer, and they said "No, we'd rather go to Vegas".
There are SO many things for kids and teenagers to do. Last time we went, we did not stop for a full week, and never did the same thing twice!
If you've got the money, be sure to check out the Indoor Skydiving. It's WELL worth what they charge for it! |

I have lived in Las Vegas for over 10 years and I can tell you that it is not all about strippers, gambling and sleazy lifestyles. Las Vegas has some of the best restaurants in the U.S. Las Vegas has a lot more to offer like Mt. Charleston with snowboarding and great hiking trails and Red Rock Canyon with beautiful scenic drives, wildflowers, and more. The MGM grand has several good restaurants as well as Mandalay Bay and don't forget about the places off of the strip like Green Valley Resort. It's a beautiful hotel with lots of nice places to eat and party as well. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville at the Flamingo Hilton is a great place to dance, eat, and sip cool magaritas without having to be trendy or cool to get in.Sports nuts will love the ESPN cafe at the New York New York. Las Vegas is also the only place that you can go from Paris to Italy to New York in one night. So, walk the strip, see the fountains at Bellagio, then breakfast at the poolside cafe at the Wynn and shop, lunch, or see a movie at Town Square. Enjoy! |

I've never been to vegas =) but I'm sure it would be one hell of an interesting adventure. Why would it be boring? Have you gone before? Maybe you should just give it a shot, even though you can't do any of the 'fun grown up things' (which actually aren't that great, trust me. I figured this out when I turned 21) doesn't mean there won't be anything at ALL to do in Vegas. While they go casinoing or whatever, go shopping =) or go meet some new friends. |

There is actually some pretty cool stuff to do even if you're under 18. There are two fantastic roller coasters, One in NY, NY and one on top of the Stratosphere. There is also a slingshot ride on top of Stratosphere that shoots you straight up 100 ft at about 80 mph. There is indoor skydiving at Caesar's Palace. There is a huge arcade in Circus Circus. Go have fun! Check out other activities at SpinCityTravel.com |

ask if you can stay at a friend's.
Or make the best of it. try and go out for a day with the siblings without the parents, if that's possible.
vegas really isn't that bad, if you think it'll suck a lot, just get postcards in vegas, and write letters to ur friends. they make cool souvenirs and it's a good timewaster. |
