McCarran Field has slot machines if you wanna play the slots....just remember.....most airlines want you to be at the airport TWO HOURS prior to your flight departure time. |

Don't bother as you have to be at the airport early for your next flight...and knowing the airlines, you'll probably be late coming in! There's plenty to do at the Vegas airport especially if you have the itch to gamble. There are plenty of slot machines and food areas. Relax and enjoy! And I hope you win some $$$. |

That's like the guy that went to Vegas in a 50 thousand dollar car, and came back in an 100 thousand dollar bus. |

Because you will get to involved. It is like going to Disneyland for just 5 minutes OR Hawaii for just 1/2 hour.
Better to make it AT LEAST a weekend. I would want to stay at least 4-6 days |

The best slots in Vegas are in the airport. (By the escalator. Max bet.) |

The only thing that stays in Vegas is your money! |

You'll run short of time. Trafffic and security checks on the way back can take a lot of time. |

There are plenty of slot machines in the airport if you want to gamble a bit. There's actually a gun store nearby the airport that has a shooting range in the back - that could be something different to do and could "stay" in vegas. |

I suggest that you delay your return flight by a day, and book a stay in a hotel if you want to experience the Strip. I reccommend the Bellagio, because it has an awesome musical fountain display.
If your schedule does not permit this, I suggest buying a two-liter of Diet Coke and a pack of Mentos and hitting the nearest airport bar. Preferably one that serves fruity drinks with umbrellas in them.
Remember, what happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas. |

The answer is very easy. If that is the first time, you won't believe how you might be impressed in a so short time. Be very energetic and take those hours to walk a lot.
You have very little time to go far. From the airport, head to the casinos on Las Vegas Blvd as soon as possible (turn left on Tropicana ave).
Always check your time.
There are buses double-decks frequently and only servicing the strip. That would be a good idea to use it to see more from outside in a very short time. I think that it cost only $2.00.
Absolutely no waste of time to look at the luxury or souvenir stores, no gambling at all, maybe a fast food but get out quickly from there. If you see the Fashion Show Mall, you are at 6 miles from the airport.
Minimum: visit the Luxor (pyramid), The Venician and look from outside the others even if many are still fabulous inside. |

No, the airport is too far away and traffic on the strip is horrible. Besides as soon as you get off the plane there are slot machines. |

In three hours? That might be a little tight. Security can take 90 mins to get thru at really busy times. Figure a cab to the Strip can take 15-20 minutes too.... |

No, once you get started in the casinos you can't stop. The air port probably has slot machines everywhere,. |

Make a run to the strip or just stay at the airport, they have slot machines there too, in fact they are everywhere in Vegas. At the grocery, the pharmacies, restaurants, I couldn't believe it. Try Circus Circus for some fun....Cearsars for an impression. Have fun but watch your wallet. Money goes fast there................ |

Pick one place, hit the slots, have a couple drinks, or check out some shops/ boutiques that you don't have where you live. Every hotel has a selection of stores that just rock (Caesar's is good).
If you have never been to Vegas take a cab to the Mirage or Caesar's and just walk toward the Luxor, if you like architecture, it's a feast for the eyes, especially at night. If you don't make any major pit stops, you should be ready to get back to the airport by the time you get to New York, New York.
Make the most of your 3 hours, have fun. |

No you need to be at the airport 2 hours before the flight leaves. Maybee switch your flight for a longer stayover. But the slots in the airport are hot! I've made out great there. Good Luck! |
