If you are American, then no.
If you are not American, then yes - because you would need one to enter the US in the first place.
But you need a passport ANYWAY, since you travel internationally. |

No. Unless you are a visitor in the USA, then you need it for positive identification. But if you are a USA citizen or legal resident, you just need any type of photo identification (such as valid drivers licence), not necessarily a passport. |

To get into the US a passport is needed, but once you're in you can fly around the US to your hearts content without the need of a passport . . . unless that is your only form of picture ID, then yes you will need it. |

Once you have passed through customs and immigration you have (hopefully) legally entered the country. You will need a government issued picture ID to get on a plane though, just like American citizens. |

No, but you need a form of identification (state ID perhaps) which you need to show at the airline check-in counter together with your ticket |

You will need a passport (and a lot of time) to get into the US. However, once you are in, you are golden... you can go anywhere but if you are flying, you will need identification to prove that you are you then you will need your passport. Train, bus or automobile, you won't need a passport. Have fun! |

if you are america you need an identification document (passport may be used but not necessarily) for secuirty and identification purposes.
if you are not american, you need as it is the only acceptable identification document for the same purposes.
In both cases you will not need to to have your passport stamped or endorsed. just matching
Unless you travel from NY to FL via another country ( toronto or bermuda, etc) then, yes, you need |

You need picture ID. So if you don't have a US drivers license, your passport will work. |

No. You'll need to show your passport. It'll show the stamp of where you entered the US, and that'll satisfy the airlines.
Have a great time in Florida! |

If you are not a US Citizen, you WILL need your passport to prove your citizenship and your identity. It is only necessary as a form of identification, not to travel betewwn states. You must have this ID to board your flight.
