I did the same thing...
1st time I went to Colorado with a backpack and a Northface tent...Amazing...
2nd Time I went to Costa Rica...Pura Vida...
California 30-50 yrs ago...Amazing...I was there for 16days and I don't think that there is a destination that offers more adventure than Costa Rica... |

If you've got the money, go camping in Vermont. But not now; it's cold there. Wait 'till spring. Late spring. They do winter right in vermont. |

I would say tennessee, its a veryyyy quiet place, and its a reasonable place to go. UNLIKE ALASKAA. its the quietest place ive ever been too. in the mountains, you can scream and let every emotion out without anyone hearing you. its very refreshing :) good luck. |

Running away from your problems or situation does nothing to help you, cause no matter where you go-they FOLLOW you. If you need a break from things and need to think about yourself, start now-where ever you're at. Start a journal, log all your thoughts and daily activities-take notice to things you seem to be repeating that aren't really working for you.. Talk to a trusted friend or co-worker, and PRAY! I too was stuck in a tough situation and I felt completely helpless. I needed to move from my situation and all I did honestly was pray and God led me the answer the next morning. Life doesn't get better overnight! I still have to work everyday on myself, that's really all you can do. |

You don't need to go far to find a place to reflect on yourself - find a local park or quiet place where you can walk around. If you want to take a day trip then there's plenty of places depending on where you are exactly in California, such as Yosemite or Kings Canyon/Sequoia Nat'l Parks or in the Lake Tahoe area - find a spot that isn't touristy and go for a hike in the woods. But you could probably find a smaller park closer to home. Sometimes we all need to have some time away for ourselves. |

Your favorite place... after all you would probably be more relaxed and it would be much easier to deal with things.. |

Depends upon how many people this would affect. Don't bail on people who depend on you. You are more important to others that you will ever realize. |

It depends on how far you want to go and how long you're going for...
Personally, I'd pick somewhere remote - maybe Alaska or Newfoundland (Canada). Somewhere quiet, beautiful, and far from everyone/everything that I know. |

If you are driving just hop in and go stop where you stop. If you are flying just go to the airport and ask what flights they have going out. Pick from the list!! Have fun relaxing!! You deserve it!! |
