I am originally from Detroit, same exact weather as Chicago, and I moved to Dallas and I love it.

Its a big city so provides a lot of the same features as Chicago, but with a southern twist. Also the job market is great down here.

The best part is the weather. When I moved down here everyone would tell me, "Your going to die in the summer" but I love it. Its hot, but who cares. The winters up north are way worse then the summers down here. Being from the Midwest you could move down here and swim from March to Nov. Even in the middle of winter the average high is about 60 degrees.

Also, another great thing I love about Texas is the other big cities. Austin, San Antonio, and Houston are all only a few hours drive away. If you want to do something different for the weekend just hop in the car and go

Washington State is awesome. I don't live there but I recently visited family in December for Christmas, and they got the first snow fall in the valley for years (it usually snows in the mountians) which didnt accumulate to more then maybe, at most, a 1/2 inch. That was Christmas day, and the rest of the time it was either drizzling rain and 50's, or sunny.

San Francisco is so beautiful! You could consider there. That would be my first choice. It's often chilly and crisp there, with lots of fog. The scenery is amazing. Cost of living is high though. The food and shopping is arguably better than New York.

I live in San Diego, and it is sunny pretty much 24/7. Definitely no snow. And it's usually mid 80's. And it's pretty here. It's a good beach town with great restaurants. And it's moderately priced.

I did that two years ago, I moved from Minnesota to Texas and after being born and raised in the cold I thought that a warmer place would be cool, But it's not, I wish I was back in Minnesota.

If your use to the winters in the North then I don't really know how well you will like down South. Granted it doesn't snow down here but the cold is different here. I moved to Maine for a while and had always lived in Georgia all my life and I loved it. Didn't like the snow and shoveling and driving in it but even when it was 28 degrees out there it was warmer than if it was 40 down here. The cold just settles in your bones down here. I think I like the sound of the San Diego place with it being in the 80's year round.

come to california...anything south or the bay area, and as long as theres no mountains, you get no snow...

mostly in the central valley and southern california is where its best...in my lifetime (im 16) theres been snow ONCE and it was only like 3-4 inches.and i think it was the only snow in the 20th century. we are also very dominant in agriculture and dairy products. we get fog in the winter though.

its a small town, (50,000 people and growing)

theres also Visalia, north about 10 miles, which is pretty good as well, and Fresno, about 40 miles north. those are good places.

yea, tennessee isn't a bad place, you just have to watch out i say that southern hospitality got the best of me..... go figure, when you're used to living up north, all ur life.... i've been down here way too long..... who let the monkey's out??!!! best of luck to ya... i personally miss the snow. just be careful, and trust only yourself. wait before you get involved w/ much going on anywhere....

Portland, Oregon or Seattle are great, if you can handle the lack of sunlight and all the light rain in December and January.

Well I would suggest two places.

One: St. Petersburg, FL It's very hot here you don't quite get all four seasons but you have the amazing beaches.

Two: Woodstock, GA Here you have all four seasons but it only snows like once or twice a year - not much. Also, here you are rather close to Atalnta. Which means that if you have gotten use to how populated Chicago is then this will make you feel more at home.

I hope this helps...

Cold tends to mean snow. Anywhere in California will do, just not the mountain areas. Florida or the South would work out well for you too.

Southern California - West Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County (North and South Counties), Ventura County, and that's all I can remember right now in that general area. The weather today in these counties was probably around 75 degrees with low humidity and it never snows.

Florida, California, Texas, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands (no passport needed for Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands if you are an American citizen because they are US Territories, these are islands in the Caribbean).
