Florida is great place!! If you bring your camping gear, you can go to all of the parks (Disney, Islands of Adventures, Universal, Bush Gardens) for pretty cheap! You pay for the Park tickets and to camp there isn't terrible either. You can also rent little cottages that are much cheaper than hotels. Also, Florida has a lot of truly beautiful state parks where you could camp. Plus, if you are in Orlando, Tampa, Miami, etc, it is still warm enough to swim! Have fun on your trip!
One more thing, there are a number of camp-on, drive on beaches here. Really cool to go to sleep by the waves and wake up to the sunrise bouncing off the water.
There are other things too, of course, other than camping. Hotels in general aren't bad here, not like New York or California. |

First of all, what state do you live in now?
Because we might suggest states that are like on the other side of the continent!arizona is supposed to be good, especially if someone in your family has allergies, since the climat is very dry.
California, for the obvious reasons.
Oregon and Washington are both really nice, and the nature is so pretty. The best thing about oregon: NO TAX!
Georgia is really nice, and the weather is really warm and humid. They have lots of nice places to shop, and it's just really good.:) |

Depends on what state you are in. Fla and Cal would be my choices. VA is also nice. Depends on what you want to do too.- |

you should drive through Idaho. it's really nice there. and there are a bunch of national forests (that means you can stay there for free) that are just off the side of the road. there are a bunch of rivers too. any state you go to you should definitely check out the national forests. |

Can't go wrong with L.A. San Diego isn't bad either. You should go to LA and check out Restaurant Devon in Monrovia, or go Camping in San Diego at San Elijo State beach! Both places are great. But, then again, Italy rocks!... |

New Mexico. It's loaded with culture and great outdoor sites. You can do alot of things throughout the state and everything is fairly inexpensive. The mexican food is the best!
Check out Las Cruces, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque. |

Washington DC can be fairly cheap because all the museums, etc. are free. Also, plane tickets aren't that bad. Hotels might be, though.
When my family and I went, we had a great time. The art museums are really great. |
