On behalf of the US, let me say that we don't want you.
If you had anything to contribute to the US, you would be able to acquire a work VISA easily. Since this is not mentioned in your question, I presume you have nothing to offer our country. |

that's horrible. marriage is a serious thing and should never be played around with like that. shame on you. |

they changing the rules every year! yes best thing to do either get married or have a working visa, but its not that easy getting married and then fixing papers, if you marry a legal resident it takes more time but if you marry a citizen it takes short time, but since they changing the rules, i think if you marry a citizen now you have to wait 7 years or more, and you have to have proof of pictures and years of being together, money! and after you get you working permit, they screen you for 4 years to see if you still married, and if your not then they take your documents away, unless you was being abused by your partner! hope this helps! do whatever is best bye! |

Is this guy for real? hahaha
When you get here be sure to call Jerry Springer. He's in Chicago. You'd be great friends. |

It takes at least 10 years to apply for a green card and citizenship. USCIS is cracking down on that. |

There are other ways that you can get into the USA without having to get married. It is not "illegal" to get married to get into the USA. (as far as I am aware of....a lot of people do it). With other ways out there....why would you want to get married to someone you don't know or don't love? |

They will investigate and if you are convicted of a fradulent marriage for the purpose of immigration, you will go to prison. after a while of being in prison, you can get a peaceful divorce, then go home, banned from return to the US. |

it's only illegal when you get caught. but if you want to come to the usa to build a better life for yourself do what you have to do |

We are getting overpopulated like China so it's best you stay where you are. Don't get married just for a green card. That's a terrible idea. If you want to be a US citizen, you need to do it the same way everyone else does. Take the test! |
|

you can do that but just be carful and just make sure the girl you are doing this knows what you are doing |

Believe it or not it is happening alot here in USA. Most people are findng it easier this way. The only thing I would say is try to find someone you wouldnt mind getting married to. Because you have to take pictures together, prove that you live together, joint bank statement etc. |

I'll do it!!! For 10,000 dollars. I need to pay for school. I live in NYC! Let me know. |

Yes, it's illegal. But it is also very hard to prove. If they can not prove that the marriage is a fake then there's not much that can be done to stop you. Even if you where caught, the most that might be done is that you might be deported. Allot of Americans, like my self, think our boarder laws are hypocritical and wrong and would be happy to see someone get in this country by any means. |

it is illegal to get married just for a green card. they investigate you and your potential spouse before they issue you a green card. you have to prove it's a legit marriage. and i believe you have to be married for so many years in order to remain in the us after a divorce.
you'd probably be better off trying to find a job here and applying for a work visa. |

Green card marriages work. Go for that. |

You have to live in the United States for seven years to be able to APPLY for citizenship. You would also need to be a US citizen before the divorce in order to not be sent back on a boat. Good luck though lol |

Seriously, I know many folks who do that all the time. I am in the military (I know, feel pity for me ;-]) and I see it in overseas assignments.
Go for it man!!! |
