I want to travel somewhere that is warm and plenty to do in the u.s.a. Where should I go?

Try Orlando, Florida. Home of Walt Disney parks and Universal Studios, and much more. And I recommend the Radisson Celebration Hotel, as part of a vacation package of Expedia.com. Also, get a car, you will need one. There are many, many things to see and do! And the hotel is superior for the price, you can't beat it. Relatively inexpensive and well located. But be aware the Walt Disney parks and Universal Studies tickets are a bit expensive, like $70 per day. But they ARE worth it. I definately recommend Epcot Center, and Universal Studios.
I must also recommend Las Vegas. Even if you never gamble, there is much to see and do. And relatively inexpensive food, buffets, and great window shopping, a place everyone must see to believe. But so is Orlando.

I dont know about the friendly people...because you see crazy people everywhere, but the whole southern coast of Florida is nice, warm, and cheap. You can start in miami, rent a car and visit Ft Lauderdale, go to Orlando and Tampa, and you would not hurt your pocket!

Come to Arizona, Its hot here, Much cheaper than California or Florida, the people are nice, and there is all types of things to do, Indoor and outdoor. You can Go from 100 degrees in Phoenix and drive 2 hours and be in 70 degrees in Flagstaff.

Vegas, of course! While it can be VERY expensive if you want it to be, you'll never run out of great things to see and do all that are available for free or very cheap. As for "friendly," pretty much everyone is, although you will definately see lots of fake people who don't have anyone's interests but their own in mind, but they're all pretty easy to spot and avoid.

I would say Disney World in Orlando, but only if you can get good ticket prices--otheriwise it's very expensive. South Caroline is beautiful. Hilton Head is an island just off the coast--you can swim in the ocean, surf, boogie board, and then at night, drive onto the mainland and have fun!

ARIZONA! north part in 70's lower part from 90's to lower 100's. swimming, hiking, rent off the rode or on road motor vehicles. many places to visit that have animals, zoos and wildlife parks. in the apache jct area, look on a map, there are 3 lakes in the desert.we came out here twice for a vacation, now we live here in the apache jct area. i have lived in OH and GA and you can't find a better place to visit or live. don't like northern GA or AZ because i don't like snow in the winter.

The First Coast. Many people do not know the wonderful Jacksonville area. So much to do! St. Augustine, home of America's oldest living settlement is in our area, with many tours and buildings and museums, the Alligator Farm. Jacksonville is so much fun. We have the landing, the nice beaches, the Collesium, Riverwalk, Metro Park, the Zoo (amazing I tell you!), Alltel stadium, MOSH (museum of sci & his), boat tours (many beautiful bridges), and much more seasonal stuff. North of Jacksonville, Folkston, Ga has the largest swamp east of the Missisippi. Okeefennokee (I think that's how you spell it). Many gators and exotic animals. Beautiful views of the marsh.... the Golden Isles of Ga are also only an hour away. St. Simon's Island and Jeckyll Island are awesome! Amelia Island, is home to some of the best beaches. It's got all the amenities of a big town with hardly any traffic and peace and quiteness. We have really nice beaches and Ft. Clinch state park. The people here are much nicer than further south in Fl. There is a heck of a lot less traffic but you can still get to Orlando in half a day. It is very cheap around here as we have a stable growing economy. I hope you come and visit us and see why I love my home.... Northeast Fl, and SE GA.

San Francisco, contrary to popular belief is pretty warm. Theres also tons to see and do like: the Exploratorium, all the museums, Lombard St, Alcatraz, the Ballpark, and plenty of shops!

Florida is going to be warm when nearly everywhere else gets cold.

If you're looking for high energy, young, unworldly beautiful crown, South Beach is non-stop.

If price is a bit more of an issue but you're still looking for wild energy, Fort Lauderdale.

Lots of drinking, check out Key West.

If you want to drink, fish, and, well, drink some more, Islamorada (Central Keys)

If you want to see the best beaches and you're coming before mid-November, Clearwater Beach.

Palm Beach is about the "cold" line - things above there get cold for December - March. (i.e. lows in the 30's and 40's) Things south of there don't get much below the 60's except in rare instances.

How about Arizona, southern California, Florida or Hawaii. There are plenty to do in these places and it's virtually warm all year round. Have a great time wherever you go!
