It depends. She will have a great time as long as she doesn't get over stimulated. You'll have to make sure that you can take breaks during the day and that you don't expect to be there every day from open to close, she will just be too exhausted.
However, in a few years she will likely not remember much, if any, of the trip. If it is a once in a lifetime trip, don't do it yet. I'd put it off for several more years. If this is the first of many, then I say go for it as long as you have a plan in place to keep her from getting too tired. Staying on-site will allow you to easily to back to your room mid-day and nap/swim.
Both of my kids love the theme parks, and we go monthly or more often. |

If you're only going to go to Disney World once in your lifetime with your kid, then it might be a good idea to wait. If you plan on going with your kid again after this trip, then by all means go!
We took our son twice before he was the age 4 and he had a blast. When they are that young, the Magic of Disney is even more magical because it's so real to them. They don't realize those are just people in costumes, they think they are really Mickey Mouse and Buzz Lightyear!
You obviously have to treat the trip differently when going with a toddler, don't try and do too much. You won't be able to go on all the rides, but there's still a lot you can do, especially in the Fantasyland and Toontown sections of Magic Kingdom. You will have an amazing time watching the looks on your child's face as they take in all the Disney magic. |

It depends on the maturity and physical stamina of you and your child. There is a LOT of walking and standing in line involved, so if she doesn't have much patience for that, you may want to wait. I think there are plenty of things that she would enjoy there at her age, it's just a question of how long she's willing to wait for them. Also, if school vacation is not an issue, try to go at a time when it is not so busy, like early January. |

unless you are in a hurry,i would actually wait until she was 5.then the appreciation would be so much better for the both of you and she would be able to get around better,if you know what i mean.but then again us out here in YA land don't know how mature your child is. |

You should wait until she is older! |

If you really want her to enjoy the experience, I would wait another year. There are many things you can do with a 3-year-old, but she might be overwhelmed by it all (and you might be overwhelmed with keeping her comfortable in the heat). It really depends on whether you can stand to wait (I know it's exciting!) and how advanced or mature your little one is for her age. Is she potty trained, for example? Do you really want to be running around with diapers and such, or searching for potties every 5 minutes?
You've picked the two parks I would recommend for kids that age, so you're on the right track there. But if you waited a few more years, until she's 6 or 7, you could do all the parks perhaps! Disney is an expensive vacation. If you can afford to go now, and maybe go again when she's older to hit the stuff you missed, then go for it. If you think this will be the first and last time for the foreseeable future, you're better to wait until she's old enough to remember it and to go on more of the rides. |

It would be better to wait, they have height requirements for alot of the rides. She may not be tall enough. It wouldn't be much fun to be continually told she's not tall enough. |

I have 4 boys and I say go for it!
Yes she is small and won't be able to "go" all day, but you have to go while she is at that magic age - so you can see her face as she sees it all for the first time! Priceless!
I would just go with the knowledge that you will go again in a few years.
Have a wonderful time! |

We waited til the summer after Kindergarten. It was PERFECT!!! Take lots of breaks. Everything is open late, so take a shuttle back to the hotel for a swim and nap, then head out again at dinnertime. |

I would suggest that you wait until she's 4, however, you can find out how long is your ticket valid to so that you can buy the ticket now and still be able to use it when she's 4 in case of inflation. If she have sisters then you can go now. they can relate experience. hope this helps |

It's exciting to be able to take your child to Disney World but wait. It'll be worth it for all of you. Not only will it be more magical and memorable for her, you will have more memory making opportunities with the Disney Characters and ride photo's not to mention it's HOT at Disney World and an older child can tell you when they've had enough and need to get in a pool or go back for a rest at the hotel & can be made to drink water frequently verses a small child. Sounds insigfificant but my son got heat stroke the first day we were there! |

I have done this with my son, and we had a great time. But you will be frustrated, at 3 years old, you're child is most likely under 36 inches in height. Thus disqualifying her for many rides, some wild such as Expedition everest, Space Mountain, but some very fun such as Soarin.
I would not dare say stay home though, the frustration from not being able to go on some rides should not stop you. You will really appreciate your daughters excitement.
Make sure you book the Princess character dinner, i know there is one in Epcot at Akershus (sp?) in Norway, and the Magic Kingdom Castle too I believe. I accidentally booked the Princess dinner at epcot for my son and I, I felt terrible when I realized what I had done but he had a great time. I dont think the princesses see a lot of boys and they loved him. |

I have gone to Disney World every year since I was 9 months old, and every time, no matter how old I was, I loved it! I also have 3 much much younger brothers and sisters, and they too have gone at young ages. We always have a great time. It's a priceless feeling when your little girl sees a Disney princess for the first time. My sisters and I remember lots of things from our previous trips. I remember being 2 years old, and ballroom dancing in the middle of Main Street with my Mom and Grandma while waiting for the parade. I have such fond memories, and I know people have told you otherwise, but if she has a good time, she WILL remember it! Just bring a stroller, or rent on at the park each day (the ones at the parks are GREAT!) and she will be fine! If she gets tired, go back to the room for a nap, or if she will sleep in the stroller like me and my siblings did, even better! Hollywood Studios is also another great place for kids..if she wants to see a Little Mermaid show, Beauty and the Beast show, see Playhouse Disney Live on Stage, or other kid-friendly things. Enjoy your future trip!! |

yeah i know what its like to want to take them there but if your only going there once then i would wait untill she's atleast 5 because then she could rem. part of it and she could ride more rides and it would be alot funner |

I am a mom of a 2, 5, & 7 year old and they all have been going to Disney since they were 1. 3 can be a great age to go. If you will only go once in the next few years...then waiting until she is 4 might be for the best. My 4 year old was able to ride Thunder Mountain and lots of the "good" rides. So measure her...and see if she is tall enough now or if she falls just short of things you want to do. You can look at all the rides and height requirements at allearsnet.com |

i would say wait unitil she's 6 or 7 so she will remember the expeeriemce. but if you want to take her now, go to disneyland first. my parents took me to france when i was 4. and i dont remember a thing. so technically, it was a waste of money |

I am not a mother but I would honestly wait until she is older more like 6 so she will truly enjoy the experience 3 is definitley too young. |

My mom took me to Disney World and Disney Land when I was 3 or younger even. I think it's ok. I've been to both plenty of times. If you are just going for her then maybe not. But if it's a family trip, sure. |
