you WILL get left behind. they require you to be 21 to go gaming, regardless of marital status.
Tell him to arrange for a lot of non-casino time in Vegas. Otherwise, tell him you know where the big expensive malls are at. |
|

where is everybody?

Be prepared to be sitting in that room the whole time. You are not 21, so unless you are just walking through the casino real quick, you aren't even supposed to be there. Sorry. Maybe you should just stay home, you'll have more fun. |

Bummer toots. Hope there are some good shows on TV back at the hotel. Some of the live shows even require that you be 21 years old. |

The State of Nevada Gaming Control Board is extremely sensitive when it comes to minors in a casino-so much so that allowing minors to loiter where gambling is conducted is grounds to cancel, revoke, or even renew a casino's gambling license. NRS 463.350 spells out clearly that gaming, or employment in gaming, is prohibited for persons under 21. The statute states that a person under the age of 21 years shall not: (a) Play, be allowed to play, place wagers at, or collect winnings from, whether personally or through an agent, any gambling game, slot machine, race book, sports pool, or pari-mutuel operator. (b) Loiter or be permitted to loiter, in or about any room or premises wherein any license game, race book, sports pool, or pari-mutuel wager is operated or conducted.
There is some confusion as to whether minors under 21 are allowed in the casino at all. It is the opinion of the Attorney General of Nevada that minors can go into grocery and drug stores, hotel lobbies or other business places to transact ordinary business, even where gambling games are operating, provided minors are not allowed to "loiter" in such places.
Bottom line, the casino coffee shop is fine for you, but for you to hang around and watch some dealer take his best shot at your husband’s bankroll won't be allowed. |

ok, you can go into the casinos.
you cannot be next to the gaming tables, although you can walk through the slots. walk through, not linger. they will make you keep walking. you can however, eat at the restaurants, walk through the malls, see all the sights. the only things you can't do is gamble and drink. (buttt.... on fremont street you can get him to buy you a drink and walk around with it. most likely no one will bug you. i've done that before, it was fun) |

you HAVE to be 21, regardless of your being married.
there's all kinds of things to do and see in vegas without ever having to gamble. |

You may as well stay home, honey. You cannot gamble, nor can you stand next to him and watch. You can only walk through the casino if you are on your way to the shops or restaurants. There are shows the two of you can go to as long as they're not topless; however, most of them cost between $50 and $200. Why not wait a couple years? |

You can walk through the casinos but I don't think you can linger and obviously you can't gamble until you are 21. However there are some wonderful restaurants, there is the pool if it's open and any of the larger hotels have spas and shops. So go pamper yourself while he's playing. You could also go see some shows. |

Nope. No minors allowed. |

By law, you must be 21 to enter a casinos gaming area. Regardless of marriage if they card you, they can escort you off the gaming floor. Therefore you will probably be left behind for a little while. Don't worry though, arrange some spa time, get a manicure or pedicure or even a massage. Go shopping. Also, arrange a meet up time and place with your husband. There's much to do and you'll be all right. Have fun. |

You can go, but you will not be allowed to gamble. You have to be 21 to gamble. You can go & look at all the differnt hotels & view those. Suggest that you all do non-gambling things. |

You can't be anywhere near gambling. If he loves you, you can come up with other things to do during the day so he can gamble a little at night if he wants to. |

You can go in, but you can't drink or gamble. There is a "path" on the casino floor, in a different color carpet, technically you are supposed to stay on that path if your not 21. You will be able to be within a foot or so of him providing he plays at tables/slots immediately off the path. This assumes that the casino cards you or you look obviously younger than 21.
You can't go anywhere in Vegas without pumping into a casino, first thing you see when you get off the plane is slot machines. They would be hard pressed to keep underage people out of the casino. |

In short, no.
I tried it when I was 19, along with my parents.
Security asked me how old I was, and I told them "20,
but I'm turning 21 in a few days" (I lied). When asked for I..D.,
I said I didn't have any. I was promptly escorted to the door.
Still, under Nevada law, NO ONE under 21 years of age
may linger in a gambling facility, no matter who accompanies
him/her or no matter what the relationship.
Sorry...
As an aside, when I was only 20, I was traveling with an older woman (who was 26 at the time), and got away with it.
We went into a Las Vegas casino for one of those "99 cent breakfasts". Instead of gambling, we just waited until were called. When I approached to claim the ticket, the attendant said "I gave it to your wife". Well, she wasn't my wife, but, oh, well...
But if security had questioned me, I would have been out of there, just like it happened in Reno the year before, when I was with my parents. |
