You would go right or to the east.Depending on your location some spots are closer to the lake and there is a beach but if you are where Lake Shore Drive swings away from Michigan Ave. and runs along the lake you are very close to the lake there.Further south you have a lot further to go to get to the lake and you run into docking areas for the many beautiful boats and yachts that are moored there.I love Chicago one of the most beautiful down towns.So much to see and do.We no longer live there but I am still a Chicagoan and proud of it.
