I would definitely go to Hawaii! I have always wanted to go there. I would love to see the Pacific Ocean, the beautiful beaches, the volcanoes, the waterfalls, the mountains, the gardens, the sunsets! From what I've seen on the internet, tv and heard from people who have been there, it truly is paradise! I don't like a lot of touristy stuff and I can't stand crowds, so I would definitely pick one of the smaller islands with more secluded beaches, but at least one day (maybe 2) on the big island. I would also love to go to an authentic luau (i know, kinda touristy, but hey it's part of the hawaiian culture, can't miss that!) and go to Pearl Harbor, too.

Great question ~ love to think of those dream vacations! Maybe someday! You didn't tell us where you would most like to go on vacation!

It would have to be somewhere cool. I hate the heat. So, I guess Alaska.

It really depends on what tickles your fancy:

Alaska ---> If you are into Majestic scenery

Las Vegas ---> If you are into gambling / entertainment / Great Hotels at decent rates / Good food at affordable prices / and above all don't mind knowing that you will most likely lose all the casino money that you set aside :-)

L.A. ---> If you live to play Texas Hold'em

Santa Fe (New Mexico) ---> If you are into truly enchanted places (Make sure to explore the outskirts and the surrounding cities as well)

Just about ANY National Park (I personally like the ones in CA, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah) ---> If you are into nature and relaxing while roughing it out (or NOT lol)

Hawaii ---> If you are into amazing beaches and a tropical sort of experience

ANY five or six star Hotel / Resort / Spa just about ANYWHERE ---> If you are into relaxing while living it up in luxury. Try Palm Beach, Fla. for some great places to do just that.

Disney World (Orland, Fla.) ---> If you are young at heart and/or wanna be dazzled by magic, technology, and zillions of different ways of having fun. Choose one of the resorts (if you can afford it) - I assure you, it will be an unforgettable experience. There are other things to enjoy in Orland, as well.

Jackson Hole (Wyoming) ---> If you are into fresh air and unforgettable sceneries. Stay at a working Ranch Hotel/Resort and enjoy the activities they have to offer.

Take the unforgettable Highway 101 from LA to San Francisco and visit The Wine Country on your way ---> Take your time, take it all in, and enjoy the charming cities along the way.

There are many other amazing places around the country to spend a 2-week vacation, but if you haven't done any of the ones mentioned above, start there you won't be disappointed. Happy Trails!

Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. I would also stop by Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons. There is so much to do and see. The scenery, geysers, and wildlife is amazing.

I would say Texas or New Mexico. Beaches, hot weather, spicy food, not crowded and touristy, and affordable. Hawaii would be the ultimate choice but has a higher price tag and more tourists to avoid.

Kind of depends on what you are looking for. If you're like me, and would like some quiet, I recommend Utah and Wyoming. Vast areas of open space, and when you do feel like going into town, you will find friendly people.

Et tu Brutus
Louisiana because you can visit New Orleans, and witness the rebuilding of a city which is something that happens once in a century!

Also, there are tours of bayous and the wilderness which are unique to the Southeast US

Great Cajun cuisine, interesting cultural history to learn about in terms of Spanish, French etc. colonization. Learn about the creole culture and Acadians.

The birthplace of Jazz, the demagogue of Governor Huey Long

Visit the Superdome!

Hope this helps, maybe you can go during Mardi Gras!!!
