I was offered a job there upon graduation. I didn't take it, I wanted to really badly though. Once you've worked at Disney (and done a good job) you can get a job ANYWHERE in the tourism industry! |

I would LOVE to work for at Walt Disney World!!! I would take the next plane out of Alaska to get there!!!
Then again I don't have a family to travel with, I love Disney like no other, and I would be thrilled to be there!!!
I love seeing people everyday....I use to work at a amusement part called Lagoon in Utah. I loved it there as well. |

Sure, why not. I've had friends that worked there and they said it was pretty fun. Of course it would depend on the job and where exactly I was working. |

depends on what role it is and you be surprised how hard but easy it is to get a job there, i was watching a internet tv show the other nite called zippefish live which had a guy talking about how he worked at disney world for 2 yrs playing goofy and what the process was in getting the job and was really amazing what he had to go through to get it and how many other people there were in wanting that job and others, really interesting story, bit long so if you go to his website, sure he will have a video on him getting a job at disney world, call's himself the walrus hehehe |

It would depend on what position they offered me and how much I get paid. It would have to be really good though since I live in Michigan. |

I have worked for Disney. I worked at the Front desk of numerous hotels, then I also worked in Fantasyland, and I have also been a manager of Different resorts. Disney is a great company to work for, but sadly the pay is pretty poor. You need to decide if you can support yourself and work up the ladder while getting paid pretty poorly. |

It really depends on if you're willing to put up with a lot of work at little pay. If you start off working there that is what will happen. You start off with very low pay. The longer you work there, the more benefits you will get and the bigger your weekly pay check will be (I mean this in terms of years, not months).
If you are looking to work at Disney World as a full-fledge life-time career than I say go for it. If you can get up the ladder to manager or supervisor it is quite an honor that pays well and still gives you all the goody Disney benefits. People who work at Disney World for a number of years get other benefits like getting the hours you want to work and the days you want off in advance.
If you are just doing it as a short time thing though, I wouldnt recommend it. I would avoid College Program if you are trying to get money because you are paid minimum wage and they take a whole lot out of your pay check and you will be forced to work unexpected hours in unexpeced places usually scheduled last minutes. You dont get your one day off of the week and have to go through the system in advance to get the days off you want which is a pain. Expect to work holidays if you are at the bottom of the ladder. |

Are you kidding?? I would LOVE to work there! Infact I'm going to next year. It's always been my dream to work at a Disney Theme Park and I'm going to after graduation. My best guy friend works there currently and he loves it! It would be so much fun and an honor to work there! Plus, think of all the interesting people you get to meet everyday! In my opinion, there is no better way to spend your life than at the most magical place on earth making people's dreams come true! |

I would give it the same thought as any job offer applying the same criteria. I would love to work there, but it would have to meet all my families needs. |

I worked there for 7 years. I tried to make it to 10...I just couldn't do it. You put up with a lot of abuse. As much as I hate to say this...it starts to make you strongly dislike the human race. The amount of dishonest and cruel people is overwhelming. It's really a shame to see the level in which some people will stoop.
I would never work for them again! I quit back in 2001 and can still get in the park free...guess how many times I've been there the 7 years since my departure...zero!
Working there will ruin the magic...it you like or love WDW...stay a guest and enjoy!

I would, when my BF graduates if he decides to stay in FL, I will definitely be applying at Disney, it would be great, I am a Chemist so I don't know what options I would have but I'm sure they must have positions for me. |

Your wondering if people would actually work there? LOL..Are you kidding? Disney employs about 52,000 people. I think, they are 2nd to the US government. I would take the job if I was unemployed. Something is better then nothing. |
