I would go to california. It's hot and beautiful, there are beaches, there are tons of night clubs and cool resteraunts, you could see celebrities, my favorite show the hills airs there, my favorite football team the oakland raiders is from there, my celebrity crush BillieJoe Armstrong lives there, there is california adventure park, disney land, and just beautiful cities everywhere. Oh what I would do if I could leave this small town and visit california. Anyways, I hope that helps you out. Have fun!!

Alaska and Hawaii are nice for scenic beauty but are expensive to visit! There are places to visit that would cost less but offer just as much beauty! Esspecially in the spring/summer! I am a So. Cal native and know there is much to offer for someone visiting. 3 days is not enough though to visit So. Cal! You can visit city walk, movieland wax museum (wich in my opinion is lame!), Venice beach which is a good attraction! And maybe even Disneyland or Magic Mountain which are both over crowded and cost too much! Venice is free though and there are many good eateries within 10 miles! My choice would be to get 2-4 best friends that will be with you for the years to come and rent a cabin in Lake Tahoe near the lake! Will cost more then going to CA if it is just 2 of you! With a couple or two or just 2-4 best friends that help split costs Tahoe will be a bargain that you and your friends will cherish forever! Go early June to late July and enjoy the best lake in the U.S. Do some hiking, fishing, picture taking, horseback riding, maybe some skiing or jet skiing and relax. It is beautifull there! Florida has nothing to offer compared to southern california or Lake Tahoe! Florida is dirty and all about partying more then anything else! Fun if your on spring break and under 30 years old but it will not keep in your mind like Tahoe or So. Cal.! Now if you are going with your father.. I strongly sugest Tahoe with friends of yours that your father likes! You will not regret! |

I'm in Florida and personally, I like it here......I'd come here..
BUT my son is now in California and he says it is amazing there, so. Remember, you have to take into account "travel time" within those 3 days. It sort of depends on where you are right now. |

I've lived in California and I now live in Florida...In the summer here the humidity is AWFUL, lots of rain and you will not have a good time at the theme parks or wherever, Fl visiting is better in the late fall or winter. and summer is when our official hurricane season begins
Pick California...you will have more fun! ;))
Getting back to me, If I had 3 days to spend anywhere in the US I would go to Lake Tahoe, Nevada Side. I love that place, the trees, lake..mmm water skiing and gambling!
Back to you...CALIFORNIA !
Have a fun vacation ;)) |

Well 3 days isn't very long, but being a San Diegan, I am partial to my wonderful city. Our weather is the best in the country. It's geographically small enough (unlike LA which, BTW, is nothing like SD) to get around and not spend all your time driving. Your whole family would love our world famous zoo and there is also Sea World and the Wild Animal Park. You may want to save the Wild Animal Park for a return visit with only 3 days. Our ball park is wonderful and located in downtown's Gaslamp Quarter. (Take the trolley to the ball park if you're not staying downtown). It's just fun being at the ballpark, even if baseball is not your thing:} My favorite beach community is Ocean Beach, not La Jolla. There is the Pt Loma Lighthouse located on Cabrillo Point, and they have Park Rangers to tell you what there is to see there. It's not that far a drive from Sea World and OB is also right there in the same vicinity. Do NOT even considering going to Tijuana. It is quite dangerous there now, and there is nothing there anyway. We have lots of special events during the summer as well, and for a family vacation, SD can't be beat. I love the Bay Area (San Francisco), but it would be more expensive and also the weather isn't as nice. I don't think that it would be as nice for your whole family as San Diego for a 3 day vacation. If you do decide to visit our city, then don't miss the zoo!! It is really fabulous and we also have giant pandas! It is considered to be the top zoo in the world! Since you only have 3 days, you probably don't have time to just lie on the beach, but if you go to OB, you can walk out on the pier and watch the surfers. The pier is fun too. We have lots of good theatre and Balboa Park is beautiful with some wonderful museums. In other words, plenty to do for all ages..after all, it's your parents' vacation too:} You will want to come back for sure! I pasted the link to the Visitors Bureau below. Have fun looking! |

My favorite place in the entire world since FOREVER has been California.
I have all these life plans that involve moving there and opening a cute little boutique somewhere.
Everything is just so surreal you just FEEL famous.
And when people that actually ARE famous walk down the street, it's like just another pedestrian for the people who live there, IT'S CRAZY! I definitely don't think I could keep my composure around those people !
Have fun wherever you go, i'm sure your dad will plan the BEST vacation. Family trips are always the best kind. You get to have some of the best times of your life with the people you love. |

☺ Joey ROCKS! ☺

I'd say Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Vegas on the way home!!! Cuz that's exactly what I'm doing in October! |

Go to the Dry Tortuga's in the Florida Keys. Perhaps the MOST isolated & unusual place in the entire country. Google it! |

i want revenge on him >=)

I can say Florida and Cali are great places, but if I had three days it would be spent for sure in the Canadian Boundry Waters in North Minnesota. It is the most beautiful place in the world and wouldnt go anywhere. Canoing and camping in true wilderness where you are 15 miles from the nearest person is awesome, try it! |
