I left it on a foggy afternoon, on the corner of Geary Blvd. and 38th Avenue. It was a long time ago, back when our world never went beyond high school dreams. I carried the torch for years after that but I never saw or heard from her again. I'm over it now, but I keep fond happy memories of her tucked away in a small corner in my heart. |
