If you are extreme adults, you better choose Universal Studios, games are much more what an adult would enjoy, so you can do Island of adventure and Universal in 2 days... And that would be great.
If you like Disney characters and you will not get bored with storyteller rides, then you may think to get into Magik Kingdom and Epcot (this is like a world tour with 3D movies and storyteller rides) in a 2 day trip as well...
I was there 2 weeks ago, and this is a beautiful season to visit orlando, because few time waiting in lines, so you can easily cover the complete theme parks in one day...
Important;: Nothing compares to Magic Kingdom night show called Wishes!... (nothing in Universal or Islando of adventure is like that)... |

If you neither of you have ever been to either theme park, go to Disney, the Happiest place on earth where magic lives! :) |

It really depends. Universal is known for family entertainment with an edge! Some of the shows are PG-13, and some of the attractions are high adrenaline. They also allow you to take things slow and have a more intimate experience.
However Disney is classic, and very romantic at times, and as a couple you can be a bit campy, and enjoy some of the more child like attractions and really celebrate your childhood, and just get lost in each other while you experience the parks.
You can read a blog more about this at http://www.OrlandoFunTickets.com
I hope this helped! |

Disney World consists of four theme parks, Universal-two. If you can only do one park, I would say Epcot, which is one of Disney's parks. Universal needs major refurbishments, it's definitely showing its age. At Epcot, you can travel around the world in less than two miles, enjoy food and beverages from all over the world (they are currently hosting the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, where you get small portions of food to sample for a few dollars each. They also have beers and wines from around the world).
Epcot also hosts one of the best attractions in the world, Soarin,' a bird's eye view experience over California.
Best of luck on your choice, Universal has always been a disappointment to me. |

I would try Disney first because of the hotels around Disney and the easy access to Disney. Disney World has the more theme parks to choose from so I would choose Disney |

If you mean Disney World than that would be my choice. Universal Studios doesnt have half the attractions Disney World has and it doesn't have the same Magic that Disney World has. Personally the only thing worth seeing at Universal was Back to the future and they got rid of that this year. You wont be disappointed if you go to Disney World. It has all the classic rides like Pirates of the Carribean, Haunted Mansion, Small World, and a lot of other fun rides. Best of luck and have a good time! |

DEFINATELY ORLANDO STUDIO...they have better rides by farrr...Make sure to ride the Hulk and Dueling Dragon roller coasters. And go to spiderman and the Juarassic Park rides. You will get more bang for your buck. Disney world is more of a place where you sight see and admire the characters walking around. The rides are not that exciting. Also, Disney is 4 parks...more overwhelming to feel like you accomplished anything with a limited stay. Meanwhile, Universal is 2 parks. |

Well, i went to both last year with my school, it depends on which park you go to, but i think Universal would be the best choice if your older then 18. Universal has:
the Spider-man Ride,
Popeye and Bluto's Bilge-rat barges,
The hulk, Dr. Von Dooms Free fall,
Dudley-Doo Rights Ripsaw Falls,
Jurassic Park river adventure,
Dueling Dragons,
Caro-Seuss-el,
and show:
The eight voyage of sinbad.
I wen to Blizzard Beach, Magic Kingdom, and MGM, out of all the Disney parks, the most boring was probably MGM because it was mostly for shopping, but it did have the Aerosmith ride and Tower of Terror which was also awesome. Out of the three Disney studios my favorite was Blizzard Beach, though really its because I love water rides (besides that, they're pretty much even).
Of the two resorts though I would choose to go to Universal Studios (and I only went to Islands of Adventure . . . lol) |

Universal park hopper!! Both parks are awsome!! Once upon a time if you bought a 1 day park hopper you got a 2nd day free. Hopefully they still have that! I believe that if you buy a Universal ticket you get free admission to City Walk (clubs and dining) either free or cheaper. I can't even go into how much fun both parks are!(Universal) Depending on when your leaving check out the internet Universal site for discounts and specials. (Florida tourists sites are good also) They open special hours occasionally. (They also close early sometimes) Disney is fun also, going there does bring back being a kid in a silly way. I would recommend Universal (with the park hopper) |
