your spelling is correct -- so don't worry about that. if anybody thinks it's wrong -- then they obviously don't read the newspaper. unless you mean "illegal immigrants"

what do i think? i can understand why some people are desperate to move to the united states because of the corrupt government officials in their country, but some of them are just plain "taking advantage" -- i see illegals just lying around doing nothing -- not really looking for a job. i don't know how they survive that but that, but they do. and i hate how some illegal immigrants "make babies" that were to be born in this country so that their children would become citizens. i could understand having 1 child or 2, but a dozen? what are you? gerbils? -- at first i thought "how could they make so many children when they make so less! do they ever think about their children's future?" -- turns out they make baby-making a business -- the more babies created to become citizens -- more perks using the government's money.

the person above is right, im ok with immigration as long as it's done legally. i think there should be a criteria on immigrants who can live here
1. must speak english! plain and simple!
2. must have a clean record -- some unbelievable bastards -- they're illegal all right, but still manage to commit crimes in this country!
3. resources (such as SS) should be limited to citizens only. -- that's what these immigrants are here for if you must know.

i am not american, but i am not about to take advantage of that when i retire. i'd rather save my own money from hard work.

i think it should be stopped. because it is not fair to those who came here legally. they waited for so long to come here and went thru a legal process.

Come in the legal way damnit. My wife is from England and she has to go through the same immigration process as all other immigrants.....boot anyone who comes in illegally. Let them live in France.

Tear down the boarder between the USA and Mexico and take over the country and made them another state added onto the U.S. .
This would cure the problem of illegal immigration and make the U.S.A. even bigger and stronger then it currently is. I think it would be a profitable idea. What do you think ?

Illegal immigration is just that - Illegal. I am all for immigration, that is what this country is built on - but do it LEGALLY.

I think the US Government need to make a strong and concerted effort to stop the illegal immigration instead of talking about how much the illegals contribute to the economy and work force. Using the Government's argument you could also apply that to people who do other things illegally, like smuggle drugs and "knockoffs". I think most American have no problems with people coming to this country to work. But I also believe that most people want people to come legally.

I think instead of worrying about the Mexican Border as much as they are they need to put more focus on the Canadian Border. We have alot of terrorist and drug smugglers coming across that border. Not only is there not a heavy border patrol, no fence, that border is a hell of alot BIGGER! But thats just my opinion...who am I?

i dont think its it should be illegal because if people want world peace so much then why not share our countrys. doesn't anybody remember the words in one of our american songs? "my land is your land and your land is my land"
