dont listen to all these people! I have just some back on friday. Yes it is busy as the kids have broke up from school. But the way we did things is so that you get a fastpass for something you want to go on with long queue, best getting fastpass before they run out. Then you go on something with small queue or just relax look in shops or get drink til your time comes round for fastpass. Also where there are single rider queues go on them as you are only seperated on ride but get on nearly staright away. Universal do not have fastpass they call it express pass and you got to pay! Just try single rider queues on spiderman & mummy ride definately!
We went for 2 weeks and did Busch Gardens, seaworld, universal studios, Islands of advernture and all disney parks and went shopping. $7000 is way enough, we took $760 each and had $200 left over. |

I imagine very busy.
Let's see if we can find for you some statistics.
Here you are: in 2005, there were 36, 224,000 visitors total to Orlando, according to the Orlando Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The page takes a couple of minutes to load, so if you REALLY want to know, well, click on the link below: |

BE PREPARED FOR IT TO BE HOT and BUSY! Kids are out of school and everybody is on their family vacations.
Don't forget Sunblock 30SPF and good walking shoes.
Bring water bottles (thermal if you can) with a straps to hang around your neck or shoulder to keep your hands free.
Also the concession stands are expensive so bring lots of money. But keep it in a safe place you wont lose or drop like a fanny pack.
Did you buy a vacation pack for all the parks?
I found Busch Gardens to be a disappointment.
I thought there would be a lot of animals.
But its mostly all rides...(they make me sick)
I went mainly for a concert but had to leave after 4-5 songs due to heat. The concert was at 4:30 and the Sun was facing directly toward the crowd. They wouldn't let you keep a umbrella up for shade.
If your of age:
One positive thing was the Budweiser Beer Garden.
It said it was for a samples (1 glass) but they cant keep track of all the people sooooooo FREE BEER!...lol I had many samples. |

7000 should be enough but make sure you bring a light color clothes because heat indexs are 100+ degrees every single day. Make sure you have the money for the gas because bush gardens is almost 2 hours from Orlando. |

I'm going to florida in 12 days too! We are only going for a week though. I anticipate it will be REALLY busy, especially Disney World. Plus, it will be hotter than blue blazes! I think 7000 is more than enough money depending on your spending habits. That's probably enough to buy me and my family dinner one night too! Haha just kidding! Ok, not really. |

we went for 3 weeks and ended up staying a month ` watch out for hurricanes it is the season` make sure you get poncho's as all the signs say "you will get wet".
but seriously yes, it will be very very busy, take plenty of iced drinks as you'll be queueing for quite some time. best to get a fast pass for most rides, and plan your days out carefully. wish we were going again
3 weeks is ideal to fit everything in (just) with a couple of rest, chillin days enjoy!!!! |

As everyone has said, it will be very, very busy and very, very hot, but on the whole, everybody is in such good spirits it is a great atmosphere.
I always suggest my guests put bottles of water in the freezer then put them in a small cool bag the next day. You must remember to drink lots of water - and you would have to queue for a long time for any food or drink.
Check out the theme parks for ticket offers (quite often they do 2 parks for price of one etc) DO NOT use the 'tourist kiosks that are around. Some will offer you free tickets if you attend a time share presentation which takes all day with pushy salesmen (in my opinion).
Have a great time, I guarantee you will go back at some time.
