Majestic Lizard
They are both very convenient areas to sell and purchase illicit substances. However, I understand organized crime is more competent in Brooklyn.

no disney world, lol. brooklyn is colder and much more urban than orlando. expect culture shock. people are probably going to be more blunt and mean.... Living in New York however will be an experience nonetheless. housing is more expensive.

i'd prefer Brooklyn to orlando any day.

Depends on what part. I just moved from CT to Clinton-Hill Bedstuy area and it was WAY different for me and I'm from Hartford. As long as your not deep in Bestuy, East New York, or Brownsville, your good.

We don't generally get "lots of snow," really, but of course winter is cold. Mostly, the pace is faster than what you're used to. People live closer together, and everything, everything, costs a lot more.
But there is so much diversity, so much culture and history. It's very different, and you'll either take to it or not, but do give yourself time before you make any decisions about how you feel.

It would all depend on what part of Brooklyn your moving to. Without knowing what part and living in NYC and having grown up in Kissamee Florida, I can tell you to expect a faster pace of life, alot more people that aren't all tourists, alot more noise.

expect the unexpected... it sure ain't disneyland up here... but don't let people scare you... great city, with wonderful opportunity - just enjoy it... don't let the craziness scare you back down south... welcome to the big leagues.

Well in case you need to revisit Disney World all you have to do is go to Times Square.

Depends what part of Brooklyn. Just hope you aren't moving to a bad part of Brooklyn...try hard to not walk alone at night!...and when you take subways don't stand near the edge of the platform because people have been pushed off the side of the platform and been hit by trains.

Wow, most people go the other way!

Colder weather, ruder people, lots of things with spraypaint on them.
