Assuming you are asking about the USA, the answer is yes. There are 2 larger countries: Russia and Canada. Australia is about the same size as the continental US (the part excluding Alaska and Hawaii). However, much of the territories of the other "top 10" countires are undeveloped and almost inaccessible, like Siberia in Russia. The continental US is relatively densely developed and accessible via an amazing network of roads, railroads, canals, and airports.
Note that Europe (which is a continent and not a country) is smaller the the USA but is even more densely developed and populated.
