Is Test Track at disney world scary?

The actual speed that Test Track reaches is about 65. No where near the 80 mph that you have heard about. To tell you the truth it is not really scary. It is actually quite fun. It just takes you through the paces of a real GM testing facility. Not really scary.

Honey, I'm an old gal of 58 years old and I love test Track. The first few times I went to Disney I didn't ride it because I was afraid, and then my daughter convinced me to ride it. It is now one of my favorite things to do. There is one spot where it goes pretty fast , but it's great. There is no flips or anything.

no its not scary what so ever. when i went on it i thought it was not anything like they made it out to be. its not worth the wait in line.

Depends on whether or not you like rides all that much. I enjoyed it because of the fast paced thrill. There are no dark, or scary parts or anything too surprising. The best part has to be the end when you travel almost to 100 mph on the track outside. If you don't enjoy traveling at high speeds or have a fear of driving in cars, i wouldn't ride it.

Not scary! It has a tv monitor in the very beginning that tells you exactly what to expect.

It seems soooo slow although it's supposedly fast, i stood in line for like 1-2hours for such a boring ride.

It's a great ride but its not scary, you go through a bunch of tests which are not fast but are bumpy, brake test, heat test (gets hot for few secs) and then it says something like collision test and you think u'll crash into the wall when it launches forward but then the doors fly open and 65mph you go and it's that fast on the turns, very fun. Dont miss it!

No, unless you are scared of moving fast outside. The only thing that you might jump at is a trunk that is fake coming at you in a tullel. Otherwise everything else is not scary at all. It is really fun.

Some people are saying that it goes 80 miles per hour. WRONG! This ride only goes 65 miles per hour. Not 80!

though it is slower than you may have heard, the track is banked and made me throw up afterwards...If you have to ask if it is scary, it will be.

ecpot only has like 3 rides, test track is the best ride in epcot, NOT SCARY at all, its ok, not great kinda lame. but its is the best one in epcot, epcot only has alot of restaurant from different countries. and wine testing. so if ur REALLy hungry and 21 and older then go ahead.

No it's not. It has a few quick turns, but like the previous poster said, it is a straight track...no hills, loops, etc...

It goes fast, but hell, most people hit 80mph in a car.

I actually thought this ride was kinda lame, although that was several years ago. They promote it as really high speed and they clock your car at about 80 mph which I realize is fast for a roller coaster. But it's on a straightway and I couldn't help but think to myself that people drive that fast on the highways around here.

test trak is probobly one of the best rides in epcot. i wouldnt say its scary, not at all. altough test track reaches to 80 mph; most people do in cars anyway! it has a few quick jerks, and sudden movements. but as for it being "roller coaster like" its not. its not a roller coaster at all, but simply more of just a car. this ride is not scary. it was pretty fun :D. however, the lines for this ride seem to always be very long! if the wait time is over an hour and a half and you cant get a fast pass, dont wait for it. its not really something that is that great to wait for. however; if you really have your mind set to riding it, be sure to get to epcot as soon as it opens and get a fast pass.
