No I dont think so. My 4 year old sister went there and had a lot of fun. They enjoy the scenery and the Disney characters. |

I take my gils since they were 9 months old! Every year we go there and they enjoy a lot the place. You are never too young or too old to enjoy Disney, and you are not going to forget her/his face when they see Mickey. |

We live in Orlando (15 years now) and we always knew people who worked at Disney. This meant we could get in for free. So when the kids were young (like 3- 7) we would go and spend a few hours only - they get tired real quick. If we had to pay - like I'm assuming you will, then I would say that 3 is too young for Disney World. We would never have taken our kids at that age if we had to pay. |

If this is the only time you will be going to Disney World I would say yes. Wait until your young one is older, because 3 year olds will not remember going to Disney World. If you are planning on going again some day then I say no, a three year old is not to young. We go every year since my daughter was 2 and she has a good time every time we go. |

In my opinion yes 3 is way to young. Why spend that kind of money for something they won't remember, and will get very cranky after a few hours. Yes you will have a photos but from what I have seen in the 3 times I have gone in the last few years it was not a good idea to take such young children. The parents were crabbier then the kids in some cases. |

Yes. Wait untill your child is at least 5 yrs old. He/she will remeber and appreciate it better at that age. |

nope -- stick with the magic kingdom and or animal kingdom. there are lots of small child things to do that as long as the 3 yr old has seen disney movies they will be drawn like little bugs into the disney web. |

We took my daughter for the first time when she was two. We all had a wonderful time. She napped in her stroller and we would just walk around. We even had a wonderful romantic dinner at L' Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante in Italy at Epcot. She had fallen asleep near Mexico so we bought one of their awesome wool blankets (only about $30) We draped it over the stroller and ate on the patio at L' Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante. She slept the whole time. Here are a few of my tips for traveling to Disney with small children.
1.Make your priority seating reservations as soon as possible. Most of the restaurants accept them 90 days from the first day of your vacation. You are aloud to start calling at 7:00 am. Start dialing at 6:58 am and keep hitting redial until you are through. You might even want to call ahead of time and write down the number sequence that you have to punch in. You can get through to a real person faster that way. For instance Cinderella’s Castle usually books up by 7:05am. Call (407) WDW-DINE and ask them the exact date that you can call.
2.I always buy the park hopper pass, because I try never to stay at the Magic Kingdom after 11:30am. I get there when they open. The opening celebration is really neat. They sometimes open early for Disney Hotel Guests. Check on line for the extra magic hours. You can find them at www.Disney.com. I go directly to the rides that my kids want to ride. We may pick up a Fast Pass on the way. If you have more adults then kids then you can spread out your fast passes. (pick up more than 1 ride at a time, One adult with each child). For instance my daughter loves the Honey Pots so we go directly there sometimes at 7:00 am. We never have a line. Sometimes they even let us ride 2 or three times without getting out of our car.
3.Mickey’s Toon Town Fair usually opens later then the park. You will have Minnie’s House and Mickey’s House practically to yourself. And no line to see Mickey.
4.Always plan your afternoon reservations at one of the other parks. Unless you have lunch at the Castle (try to make it early)
5.The Hoop – De – Doo and the Luau (at the Polynesian) are great evening shows. Your ticket covers an all you can eat meal at your table (not a buffet) and all you can drink Beer, Wine and soft drinks. I believe that you can call up to 2 years in advance. Call ASAP for the best table. My One year old had a blast this Christmas.
Have Fun!!!!
OH, and if possible stay on the Monorail. I recommend the Polynesian. This way the only time you need to be on a bus is to Animal Kingdom or MGM. This way your little one can stay in the stroller.
Animal Kingdom doesn't have much to offer to little ones. |

I believe that they will like it however, they wont remember a thing. Take them when they are a little older. My first time going to disney world was at the age of 8 |

uhh YOUR MOM!!

Yes deffinately, i mean if your up to all the screaming and whining and not riding any rides and just sitting in "its a small world" allll day long then sure, go ahead and bring a 3 year old to disney and waste your money on a horrible time. |

I went to Disney World for the first time when I was 3 and I still have memories from the trip 18 years later. While there are a few different parks, there is really only one that has rides for kids that young, but you can spend an entire day there and the shows they put on at the castle are great for all ages, plus the shows they do at the theaters in the park. If you stay at one of the Resort hotels, they also offer plenty of activities for the entire family that your 3 year old will enjoy. Go and have fun! |

too young for Disney? no.
too young to remember Disney? YES
we waited until our daughters were 4 and 6
however, it depends on the child because my oldest daughter didn't have the mental capacity at four that her sister had. but they both remember it and still talk about it like it was yesterday and we just went in August. |

Not at all! My parents first took me to Disneyland in California when I was only a few months old. I do remember trips from when I was 3 on up. My point is that even if they don't remember the trip when they are grown, or they only remember bits and pieces, they will always have the photos you took to remind them.
Visit Disney World's website at http://www.disneyworld.com and click on "something for everyone.": Then click on toddlers. It will list all of the great entertainment and attractions geared to that age group!
Pack lots of sunscreen, rent a stroller, and get your child a cute hat to wear. You'll have a great time making memories with your child!

I've had this debate with my guy because I told him I would like to take our son sometime soon...preferrably when he is 2 or 3. He wants to wait until he is old enough to remember. However I've been to Disney many times and its a joy to watch such a young child get amazed and exciting over everything there. I want to see my son have that kind of excitement. And of course I would like to continue to take him too...when he is older and will remember it and be able to talk about it.
I dont think its too young at all. I however wouldn't take a baby there just because it would be such a hassle with feedings and naps and such. But a lot of people take babies there. I've seen the tiniest little babies there! |

Not at all!
My first trip to Disney World was when I was 3 years old. Sure, I don't remember a lot of it, but my mom told me I had a wonderful time and that thats when I developed my love for Disney World.
Since then we go at least once every year!
Disney World addicts can become addicts at a young age!

yes, my dad brought me when i was 4, so i wouldn't believe that i was there unless the photos existed.
wait until your kid is at least 10, so you don't have to carry them around because you will be walking all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... |

I am sure that your 3 year old will have fun, but i am sure that he/she will get cranky and may possibly ruin your time. At Disney, you are constantly on the go, waiting in lines, and maneuvering through crowds. If you spend a lot of time at the resort and take things slow, it's probably doable. Otherwise, I would wait until he/she is about 6. |

No they aren't too young. They will love it. Just be sure to plan for down time like maybe a mid-afternoon nap. I took my nephew when he was 2 1/2. He enjoyed the characters, parades and some of the rides. His favorites were Pirates, Pooh, Small World and Buzz. |

No - I took my oldest for the first time for her third birthday. We just took a trip there this fall and our youngest will be three in two weeks. It was wonderful, but.... you have to know what you're in for and be ok with it. We stayed at a Disney hotel and made sure to take her back to the hotel for a nap after lunch. My husband played golf most mornings while I was in the park with the girls. After lunch, he napped with the youngest while my oldest and I did something fun. Then late afternoon to early evening we all spent in the park as a family. We left the parks well before closing on all but one night for a swim in the pool before bedtime. It was great - my oldest remembers her first trip because of pics (and the fact that we all talked about it so much) and my youngest is now still talking about 'her' castle! You'll have a blast. But, if you think this might be your one and only trip to Disney, you may want to wait another year or two. There are a lot of rides the little ones can't do right now - my oldest (7 and 1/2) could ride almost all of them. Have fun! |
