In my opinion, you can spend 2 days (possibly 3 if you are moving really slow) at Universal, tops. So 2 days at Universal, 1 at Disney? No, that's not enough. Disney has four separate parks. You need 2 days for Magic Kingdom, 1-2 days for Epcot, 1 day for Hollywood Studios, and 1 day for Animal Kingdom.

You will just need to do a little research and be sure you go to the places that have the most to interest you if you only have 3 days. Get a guidebook or two, and also check out http://www.allearsnet.com

If you have gone to one or both before then I think you might have enough time. If you haven't, then I suggest focusing on either Disney or Universal this time around. When we go to Disney, we try to do at least three full days and one half day. Three full days gives us the ability to spend one full day each in three of the four parks; and then a half day to do whatever.

if thats all the time you can muster up then go for it but to actually do everything it takes more than 3 days.
disney world has 4 theme parks and 2 water parks (magic kingdom, epcot, hollywood studios, animal kingdom, blizzard beach, typhoon lagoon)
from my experience if you were doing all the parks it would take 5-6 days
MK-2 days
epcot-1 day
HS- 1 day
AK- 1/2 day
typhoon lagoon- 1/2 day
blizzard beach- 1 day

and there are 2 theme parks in universal orlando plus 1 water park. (universal studios, universal islands of adventure, wet n wild)
if you wanted to do all 3 parks from my experience it will take 2-2 1/2 days.
islands of adventure- 1 day
universal studios- 1/2-1 day
wet n wild-1/2 day

While it is better than not going - no way is it enough to see even pieces of all the parks.

No that isn't enough. WDW is made up of 4 major parks, each of which take an entire day at least. USO is made up of 2 different pack, which also each take at least a day.

If you really want to be able to see everything at both, I would recommend 8-9 days at least.

cinderella
oh no definitely not !

i absolutely adore disney !

the parks i would recommend would be:
islands of adventure (park hop to universal since it aint that good )
magic kingdom
blizzard beach
MGM (hollywood studios)
Busch Gardens ( bit busy but worth it)

so at least 5 or 6 definitely.
youll love it :-)

eriicaaa.
I don't think it's enough.
When I go to Florida I go for about a week.
And even that goes by way too fast.
But if you're going to Universal Studios one day and one of the Disney World parks the other I guess it's not too bad.

Have Fun:).

joolz
i took a 4-day trip and only went to universal (was bored by the 3rd day). so, if you split up your time at disney 1 day and another at universal, then you should be good, but you might be exhausted and over-whelmed. haha!

If you want to see both Universal parks plus all 4 Disney parks then no. Definitely not enough time. You need at least a day for each park.

Maybe you could pick 2 Disney parks and 1 of the Universal parks and do a full day in each? And tell yourself you will see the other parks on your next visit.

Have a think about what rides you like and then see which parks appeal to you the most.

If I had to pick 3 I would pick Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Universal Studios. x

No. Haha. I would say you can do Disney in three days with clever planning and park hopper tickets. Universal isn't nearly as good anyway.

No because you really don't have any time to see and do anything. you need at the least 4 days.
