Without a doubt. Disney World is the original and the best.

YES

There's no question! Disney World is definitely much better than Universal. There's so many more fun things to do at Disney than at Universal.

Disney World is the best & greatest!

darrius1st
yes it is , but universal is still good. it's just that Disney is a cut above the rest.

The best thing about Universal is Halloween Horror Nights. That is they best thing that they have. But the regular days it's alright. The team members are rude, and impatient and all act and look like they don't want to be there and really gives off a negative vibe.. Food isn't the best either. Everytime I go they screw up what I order and never fix it they just roll their eyes and go to the next customer. Also, if you go to a quick service don't expect it to be quick because they take their time getting it ready. Quite a few times we've waited about 45 minutes for a hamburger. And when we ask for a refund they ignore you. But the rides are alright the roller coasters aren't amazing. The park is very dirty. If you want to just ride roller coasters I would recommend taking Sea Worlds bus to Busch Gardens for about $7.

Disney really has the best service all around. People are always polite there. My sister has Down Syndrome and they created one of their Magical Moments for her. One of the supervisors for our hotel saw her dressed up in her Cinderella dress. And once we got out of the bus and arrived at Disney they had a red carpet layed for her to walk down into the park and gave her flowers and made her feel like a real princess. Disney takes a much bigger pride in their park then any other park I've been too. I'm not a die hard Disney fan at all. I actually don't really love it at all. But in an all honest opinion betweeen the two Disney definitely wins.

Universal is actually about to be put up for sale.

disney world is simply amazing and i would choose disney over universal anyday. disney world is an escape from reality and you have no worries and all you do is have fun. plus every disney employee is amazing and treat you like royalty. i really consider disney world my second home. it's magical. i'm 20 years old and i intend on going there every year til i'm too old to travel.

to what some people may think, disney isn't only for kids. it for people from 1-100. disney has really changed over the years and there is so much to do for adults. it's awesome. my boyfriend and i go every year and we love it. epcot is amazing for adults and theres many adult rides now. plus, even the more mild rides are so fun! why would you want to feel old? you feel young there!

animal kingdom is a true expierience. you go on a real safari and you are upclose to real, exotic animals. i reached out and touched a giraffe on my safari. plus the shows at disney are broadway quality.. only shorter in time. the new roller coaster expedition everest is so fun! the kali river rapids are so fun. you get soaked.

at the water parks, you can swim with sharks and it's such an expierience.

hollywood studios you really go behind the scenes and it's so COOL. plus the new ride toy story mania, is AMAZING. my cheeks hurt when the ride was over cause i was laughing so much. they also have rock n roller coaster which is new. it's pitch black and it looks like your riding through hollywood all you see is lights and your listening to aerosmith going upside down and loops.

the fire works are breath taking
and the characters are so fun!

sure universal is fun. but it's nothing in comparison to disney.
go disney!

Yes!! Well to me it is !

I'm VERY Disney obsessed lol. Some people ( depending on age and type of rides you like) would say Universal Studios is better but I would always pick Disney 100%.

It's so magical & beautiful :]. It is for people of every age ! There are tons of amazing rides, characters, food, shows, everything! I love it ! Everyone should go at least once if they can !

I love how it was Walt's dream and he made it come true !

In my opinion NO WAY. All in all it depends on how old you are and how old your group is in general. Universial Studios and Universal Islands of Adventures are for a slightly older crowd. They feature more roller coasters and thrill rides that kids either can't ride or might not enjoy as much due to the fear factor. Disney, obviously, is far more kid friendly.
When it comes to the two Universal parks they're both great, however there's a hitch. If you don't enjoy roller coasters you're safer going with Universal Studios, however if you love roller coasters than Islands of Adventure is the best of the two (in my opinion). Islands of Adventures features rides like The Hulk, Dueling Dragons (though it may be shut down due to construction on the new Harry Potter section), Jurassic Park, etc. Universal Studios rides are more theatrical, featuring Jaws, Men in Black, The Mummy, Earthquake and Twister. The Mummy is an indoor roller coaster that goes through pitch black rooms and tombs filled with fire, the rest are thrill rides where in some cases you don't move at all.
Disney, however, has taken out a lot of the more mature rides and replaced them with kiddy ones. Space Mountain and the Matterhorn are two of the few rides for adults that are left, otherwise they're very themed and often very young. MGM studios (next to Disney World) features more mature rides like Tower of Terror and Space Tours.
All in all I'd recommend one of the Universal parks as long as you're looking for a good time with young adults to adults.

No Way, but then Universal isn't better than WDW either.
They are both excelent at what they do. Both parks have wonderful rides and pay attention to every little detail.

I have to laugh at thsoe who say if you don't like roller coasters, then don't go o Univeral. That is funny. I guess you shouldn't go to Animal Kingdom, Epcot or Dinsey Hllywod Studios because all 3 of them have thrill rides also.

Same with those who say Universal isn't for kids. I guess they missed the entire section of Islands of Adventure called Seuss Landing, the Kidzone section, Jimmy Nuetron and Shrek 3-D in Universal studios.

Of course, if you're with smaller kids. But that's a given.

Besides that, Disney has that "magical, always happy" feel to it. It's a better "experience". Like you could walk around Disney the whole day, not ride any rides, and still have a blast.
Buuuuut, Islands of Adventure's rides are much better (if you enjoy roller coasters/thrill rides). And Universal has some good rides as well, but out of the two, Islands Adventure for sure.

It just depends, but overall, I prefer Islands of Adventure.

No way! I went to the States in '08 and was very disappointed with Disney Land. The rides were crap! Universal was awesome, I'd go there again. I loved the studio tours and the rides.

EDIT, I just realised I think you were talking about the Orlando park? I'm Australian so I get the two confused. I haven't been to the Florida one but the LA one is rubbish.
