Little Bit

We went once in December, and the weather was wonderful there. It was a little crowded, but it was also around Christmas. I'd say that January would probably be a good time, because everyone is busy with post - holiday things. I don't know for sure, but I would think that it would be less crowded then. |

Without a doubt - its good. Lots of snowbirds around but its low season for vacation rentals so you can get a whole house for the price of a hotel room - The lines at the parks are short but its ususally a bit too cool for the water parks! That said, there's lots of other stuff to do - walking deserted beaches etc - We are going in a few days |

Yes it is, because many people will be returning home from the Christmas and New Year's celebrations. January is one of the slower months; the weather is usually not that cold, but it's cooler than in the summer. |

Personally I think it is a great place to go anytime but January is actually one of the better months. Good weather and if you go after the school breaks then the lines are much smaller. Just adding this because I'm not sure if you have been there or not: suggest you try to get a map of each park and plan your daily activities, it will be well worth the effort. Also, if you want to eat at one of the character restaurants make sure you book early, if you are staying in one of their hotels they can do that for you. Pick carefully as they can be very expensive especially with children but worth it to let the kids have time with their fav. character. Have fun! |

January is a decent time to visit. For example the lines are not huge and hotels are easy to come by. The least busy time of year is between Thanksgiving and Xmas. Good Luck. |

I went Jan 7,8,9, 2005 and it was wonderful. Longest line was less than 15 minutes - we went on everything! The weather was nice - about 75 and we really enjoyed it. I would recommend this time highly! |

Without question YES. I have gone several times in January and the longest line I ever saw was 10 minutes and it flew by. Depending on the day you might need long pants but January in Florida is better than up north. |

Typically, January is a very good time to go because there are hardly any crowds. Just avoid the first week in January. The Walt Disney World Marathin takes place the 4th - 8th and almost all of their resorts will be jam-packed with marathon runners and their families.
Keep in mind that January can still be chilly in Florida and you may not be able to go swimming while there.
I recommend April and October as the best times to visit. They are slow, crowd wise... but the temps are warmer so you can enjoy everything. :)
