the price you pay these days, take some towels as well !!! XD
On a trip last year, me and my mates went to a expensive hotel, nice hotel. last day we thought we ain't going to visit again so we put Towels, Pillows, Bathroom Mirror *needed one* and several other random things.
Take advantage of things like these, the price these days so **** it |

let me set you straight...
it is NOT ok to take towels and batteries from your hotel room...
and NO, it is NOT ok to take pillows |
|

Lofo
 |
it is NOT ok to take out the batteries and towels, not the pillows too.
You sound like a kleptomaniac, seek therapy. |

Who ever told you stealing batteries and towels were ok?
And no it's not ok to steal pillows, they will most likely charge you |
|

becca

You take the batteries out of remotes.?? That's crazy!
I dont think you should steal the pillow. They will charge you and probably would cost you more than to just go buy your own pillow. |

towells and batteries are ok to steal??LOL, too funny. YES, it is STEALING. If you pay for the room with a credit card, they will probably ding you. Perhaps if you ask where they got the amazing pillows from, you could BUY your own, lol............ |

It IS stealing and so is taking towels and batteries. You take batteries from the TV remote? That is ridiculous!
Plus, they will probably add the missing pillows to your bill - and it will most likely cost you the same as one night's stay. Hotels don't like it when you steal from them! |

Of course it is stealing |

Yes it is. They will charge you. |

Yeah, it's illegal. And actually, it's not okay to take anything from them. Not even towels or batteries. |

i do hope u r joking about the towels and batteries...it's all theft, unless it's disposable
under your logic, the pillows, blankets, lamps, pictures etc. are all up for grabs |

i learned this in my class this week strangely enough.
its illegal just like stealing from a shop.
i heard this old posh man was going round hotels stealing what ever he can find in there. he made alot, but he eventually was caught and was prisoned.
not worth taking the risk mate. :) |

If you want a pillow full of ejaculate and pubic hair, go right ahead. |

Yes, it IS considered stealing. Be careful if you do decide to take/steal the pillow cause some hotels are very picky about that sort of thing. I know when I stayed in Vegas and in St. George, Utah, there were signs posted that said something like "no stealing towels or any other articles in hotel allowed." Looks like they take inventory of every article in the room. They'd probably call the police and get you arrested. |

Taking anything w/out paying is stealing...hence the word "taking". Maybe you could talk to the front desk and ask what the charges would be if you were to keep the pillows. |

i wouldnt because you wil get charged. a soon as someone checks out of a room the room gets inspected befor they clean it. actually to see if things were stolen. |

yes it is, and why don't you just ask the staff, where they bought them? this is the problem , people think they can just take whatever they want. it is not a gift. please. |

why would you say it is ok to take towels & batteries?? That is stealing and yes stealing a pillow is also wrong. I personally do not know why you would want to. Who knows who was using that pillow before you and what they did with it? I personally get grossed out using any kind of hotel stuff. |

its not ok to take the towels either, and the battery thing is just bad taste. as for pillows, thats stealing, get your own, they bought them somewhere, surely you can find some. |
|

Ravenclaw

Yes it is stealing but honestly the pillows are probably dirty even though they look clean. I always used to just take the soap and little shampoo bottles the hotels provided. |

Taking anything that doesn't belong to you is stealing. Ask at reception, I'm sure they'll sell you a couple |

I took one once and got a $50 charge on my bill. |

You can't take pillows |

Haha, yes, of course it is stealing. |

Anything you "take" from the hotel room is stealing. You can be charged the amount to replace any of the items you take (besides the coffee, shampoo, etc.). Though unlikely, you can also be charged in a court of law. Remember, the hotel has to pay for these things, so even if you take them and don't get caught, that is what causes the prices to be raised in the hotel itself. Its never "ok" to take things from a hotel. It causes more headache for the people that work there and can be costly to your wallet. |

You should NEVER take things from your hotel room. They do not belong you, and that would be stealing.
Wait for the person in the room next to you to leave, and see if you can slip into their room. Feel free to take whatever you want. If it didn't come out of your own room, then you didn't steal it.
A friend of mine took a chair that he found in the hallway outside of a hotel room. |

Take whatever you want and see what the hotel does. They must be limits. |
