Heck no, are you kidding? I wish to goodness I could say that. If I ever get back to MO, I'll never leave it again (and I'm not even originally from there). Some people just don't now how good they have it!
; ^ )

JOJO
yes

It is not sad and you are not alone. There's a 55 yrs single lady at my work who make $90K/yr and have never been out of california.

Depends on how old you are I suppose.
Travel is good for you though.
Get a passport and go visit Europe.
You'll never regret it.

i used to live in missouri 14 years and never left the state but when i moved out of state i notice the diffrences and wished i left missouri along time ago

gumby
only if it makes you sad. there's nothing wrong with staying somewhere you're comfortable. of course, if you're staying out of fear then that's totally different. it is fun to explore though.

bobhayes
No. You've made life choices, and of course those choices had real consequences. All choices do. ;)

But what would be sad would be if you didn't start to travel, if that's what your heart is calling you to do. Secure your responsibilities and make your life shipshape, then hit the road once in a while and have a good time. See this great country! See some other countries too, as the fancy takes you.

Best wishes and God bless.

phoenix_chicka
Aww, that's okay. Yeah, its a little sad. But it's still okay. You'll get out of here eventually. I live in Missouri too. Here's a suggestion! Go to Cocoa Beach, Florida. Its on the Atlantic Coast and its beautiful. Try it sometime. The beach is right next to Orlando, FL and its free too!

What keep you in Missouri and why don't you just travel a bit. Missouri you will find is a beautiful state but there are great places to see that are not that far away.

Garth
It isn't sad if you are happy with the life that you have. If you are unhappy, and dream of venturing outside of your state, then you should focus on following your dreams. If you are young, you will have plenty of time to see other places. Where you are and what you have seen does not necessarily affect your quality of life.

xeroxpoop
yes, very. you should fly to alaska so you can say u left missouri. ok i don't konw or care but i just got 2 points.

Traveling is becoming less necessary now that the internet exists. You can kind of "be outside Missouri" right in the comfort of your own home.

You're like me, I've barely been out of California. I went out for the first time last summer to see meet my grandpa who lives in Oregon. Find a way to get out :] I will as soon as I can and have money, I wish I could see the world.

Not neccesarily sad, but you should travel some. The US is a huge country and has a lot of sites to see. I am lucky in that I was able to take a trip around the nation once, rather enlightening. You would be surprised what all you can see and experience.

Oracle at Delphi
No, you're still young. As long as you leave at some point, you're okay. You should definitely get out and explore though.

you should get out and see the world. if you would like you could do it with a lonely 19 year old Louisiana guy by your side ^_-

Maybe not, depending on your age. If you are young, then no. If you are not all that young, still a no....as long as you have breath, you have life, and it's not over till the fat lady sings. If you want to go outside of Missouri, then plan on it, save for it, even if it's just over the state line! Make the best of what you can do, make it a victory in your life! I'll be cheering you on!!! I know you will some day!

No I just barely got out of my state like 2 yrs ago and I'm 25. I think it's normal for some people. It's just your home state and you never leave. There isn't nothing wrong with that as long as your happy with where your at.

clorox.bleech
Nah...I've lived in the Southwest my whole life and have only ever been in three states (California, Nevada and Arizona).
