Look for elderly neighbors who need basic services such as cutting grass, raking lawns, cleaning out the garage, etc. . any kind of household chore they may not be able to do.

I believe that 14 is the youngest you can get a job at and that would be really restricted hours. Until then, things from paper routes to babysitting to yard work and chores that you might do that people don't want to do would work well! Advertise in your own neighborhood that you'll walk dogs, clean yards, or other chores that people don't want to go outside and do in this cooooold weather. |
