Make sure you get your EZpass to pay the tolls. It is a beautiful drive. |

Yes. It opens next week. But to save money on its construction there are no rest stops, gas stations or restaurants. Nor will there be any stopping allowed once you are on the bridge. If you car dies for any reason it will be tossed over the side to keep traffic flowing.
So pack up with about 200 gallons of gas, some adult diapers, lots of coffee, no doze, food and water for your 2500 mile, 35 hour non-stop drive. Good thing is the speed limit is 80! You will love the view at mile post 1275!! |

zubmelro is pulling your leg, honey--there's no bridge! Why would they need one? They just opened the tunnel a few years ago! It's really spiffy, with port holes to watch the whales and dolphins... |

No way, too many miles, but you never know, they may try to build another stupidferry, where you can commute to work everyday, just like they are going to do here in Hawaii. That is what everybody does not need here is more freaking cars............ |

Very doubtfull. think of how long the bridgle would need to be. The waves in the pacific are very rough at times. If you were stuck in the middle of the bridge and waves were coming over the top, would you rather be in the air? besides... everyone likes airplane food.. right?? |
