Las Vegas with Kids?

My family is planning a big family trip to Las Vegas and my two young nieces will be going. Any ideas for kid-friendly fun?

JellyBean
You don't specify their ages....

Circus Circus has the Adventure Dome (small theme park) which has rides kids will enjoy.

The Stratosphere has rides atop the tower.

Take them to the Mirage to see the Dolphin Habitat. They get to take a tour of the Habitat and see the dolphins, white tigers, etc. It's worth seeing.

The Mandalay Bay has the Shark Reef which they would probably enjoy.

Venetian has Madame Tussauds (sp?) wax museum. That is great for people of all ages! The wax figurines look so real and there are so many opportunities for great photographs there.

Hope this helps!

i think theres coca cola land or something like that there. my friend went and he liked it.

circus circus has theme parks and games. new york new york has a roller coaster and arcade. however most hotels have some sort of arcade. you can look into the various shows that are going on.

make sure you put the children you bring before your wants to gamble
your first priority should be making sure they have a good time, not that your coming home with a pocket full of cash

jaysons.love
well there are a few casinos that have the day cares in them. those are definately a way to go considering they are always packed with kids..and another place is adventure dome at circus circus..i mean they are on vacation too so you should take them there and let them have some fun!!

nena
Yes. There are sooo many attractions, shows, shopping, dinning, rides, pools, etc.

Oh & I took my son when he was about a year old. He was fine. I took him in the pool, to the restaurants, shopping & in the stroller while we visited the sites. I didnt even gamble, b/c they dont allow babies, but it was good. He loved the rainforest cafe & lion cages at MGM & all the light shows, etc.

Vegas used to be a good place for families. That lasted about 1 year. Truthfully, Vegas is not a good place for kids. There are a few things - Circus Circus has an amusement park and circus acts, and there is a Ocean Spray museum or something in Henderson, which is now part of Vegas for the most part. Be prepared for a lot of billboards that are very suggestive, everywhere from taxis to storefronts to signs. If you walk the strip, be prepared for the pornographic material that is handed out and scattered everywhere. There is a fun roller coaster at New York New York and an arcade too.

Hoping for pink or blue soon

Well I wont take any kids to Vegas but if you are 4 sure. There are some great stores like the M & M store on the blvd. Or go to MGM Hotel they have real live tigers there its like a mini indoor zoo. I was there and there where some kids there. Best bet would be the strip there are alot of things thet could see and do.
