I'm not coming if you move to a DESERT island. But I'll consider it if you move to a DESERTED island. As in, no other people.

It's a common language mistake that's developed over the years. But you can't survive on a desert island - there's no fresh water, just sand. So no trees, no fruit, no coconuts. Just desert.

But on a "Deserted" island, there could be trees, fruits, animals to eat.
Use the right term, sell me on the idea, and I'll come with you and I'll bring the beer.
