You are actually allowed to take quite a bit. I went last year with my son and I carried a medium sized backpack with me. I was able to take in my camera, first aid stuff, poncho, snack and drink, etc... Just use common sense- don't take in guns, explosives, knives, etc.

The perfect website to go to for info is www.allears.net
This site gives you all kinds of tips. Check it out

YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BRING IN DRINKS AND FOOD!!! Ok now that's off my chest, you can bring in basically anything except weapons/explosives, alcohol, and any type of glass container. Just remember that you will be stuck with it though, Disney does have lockers but they don't hold everything! If you're still not sure ask a cast member and they'll happily answer your question.
Have fun and enjoy your trip!

Anything but weapons. Your bags, purses, strollers will be quickly checked, but they don't rummage. They are only looking for explosives or guns, etc... you can pack a sandwich or water bottle. They don't say you can bring food into the parks, but if you put them at the bottom of your bag, under a sweatshirt or something, it won't matter. I recommend purchasing these items ahead of time to bring into the park: Ponchos, batteries, film, water bottles
Of course Disney sells these items, but for a lot more than you'd pay at a Target or Wal Mart.
You can take a cooler of food into any of the Disney Water Parks.

I went to Disney this past spring. I know you can take un-opened bottles of water in and I know I saw a whole lot of people with snacks for their kids. I think as long as you aren't flaunting it (i.e. it's in your bag), they won't say anything about it. I think the biggest thing, though, is that unless you have someone not going on the rides (i.e. Grandma's pushing the stroller) who can hold stuff for you, you probably don't want to take in too much b/c you won't want to carry it around all day.

My family kept a water bottle in our little back pack and would refill it at water fountains around the park.

You can certainly take snacks and drinks into the parks if you have little ones, and anything you need for toddlers. It's usually more convenient to not take anything that really isn't necessary. But somethings can't be avoided.

One tip is to reuse the water bottles you buy in the parks. The water fountains around the parks have pretty good tasting water and it's almost always cool and refreshing. A small bottle of Dasani is like $1.25, but my fiance and I usually refill it throughout the day.

There are bag checks before going into the parks, so they will check to make sure you're not carrying anything illegal. Aside from that, you can take most things into the park.

Mam
It has been a few years since I was there and we took a video
camera, but you probably need to just call and ask so you will
know for certain. You will have a blast.

Lots of cash! (your going to need it!)(Micky Mouse is a greedy little $hit!)

Take snacks and drinks they will give you free ice. we went to the parks in june and i would pack water cokes and snacks for my family when we got thirsty i would get ice from the vendors so no need to make sure they are cold.

I live in area. Been there. You can bring food, water bottle, camera, camcorder. I will mention that they have lockers, most are free. They open and close with your thumb print.

Pack lightly, less is more. There is alot of security, check in advance.

They check all bags at the entrance to all of the parks, so if there is something that should not go in they will take it. I have taken in cameras, snacks, water, coats and was able to go in to the parks. If you are staying at a Disney hotel, check at your Guest Services desk. They will know what you can and cannot bring in.

oye !!

I came back from my most recent Walt Disney World vacation two weeks ago. You can bring just about anything you want that's legal. Each day we went to a park we'd (my boyfriend and I) bring at least one bag with whatever we felt we needed. Bring whatever you think you may need- cameras, cell phones, female/baby items, snacks, bottled drinks, gum (because NO gum is sold at WDW, and don't throw any gum on the ground, try to do your part in keeping the awesome parks filled with families clean, I'm pretty sure that's why they don't sell gum,) a change of clothes (really good idea if you're planning on going straight to dinner, or something, after a day at one of the parks, or if you go on a ride that you get wet on, like Kali River Rapids.) If you bring bags you'll have to go through the baggage check line at the entrance of the park (have any pockets unzipped before you get to the table- they do a quick, not-so-thorough check, so you'll get through even quicker and not hold up other people behind you.) Just make sure that your bag isn't so big it won't be able to fit in the compartments to put bags in on the rides.

HAVE FUN! : )

Almost anything except weapons and explosives. Be sure to take you own water.

(My family usually freezes a little bit of water in the bottle the night before and then fills it up, the day we go in the park. Keeps cool all day)

Ms.Hockey!
You can bring in small snacks and bottles of like water or soda. They frown upon like a whole cooler full meals for the family. They understand they kids are picky and need certain snacks. And some people need a special diet/snack. They just don't want you pulling up to a park bench and pulling out a steak and bottle of wine. You can bring a bag with like a camera and phone and extra little things you might need. I.E. Band-aids (blisters suck) sanitary products,Advil, gum, umbrella or poncho, extra socks if you get wet, maybe a extra t shirt, SUN SCREE!!!! Things that will help you get through your day with out having to go back and forth from your resort or where ever your staying!
Trust me I am a frequent visitor!! It helps to think a head. Just don't carry to much, it gets heavy all day. try to spread it out amongst the family.

I just came back from disney, you can not take too much into the parks, they want to make as much money as they can. You can bring video cameras, regular cameras. You can not bring food of any kind into the parks, nor can you bring water, unless you hide it well. Be prepared to spend $2.50 per bottle of water and at least $7.50 per meal(depending where you eat) NO animals, unless they are service animals. Bring lots of money, debit cards are accepted throughout the parks and they come in handy. I hate bringing cash into the parks, just in case. You are allowed bags, if you have kids, you will probably bring at least one, however, you can not bring bags on the rides, you will have to rent a locker of course, for a price! They also search your bags and if you have something you shouldnt have, you wll have to throw it away in front of them.
