OMG! If you can deal with hot weather Arizona is great, the desert is beautiful, hiking the canyons is so much fun, outside of Tucson you can ski on Mount Lemmon until april, 20k? Take it, the houses are very reasonable there too. |

I've lived in the desert (Las Vegas) and I've lived in the beautiful wooded areas where it rains (TN)- I's stick with beautiful! You have to decide what's more important to you and what you are willing to give up for a little more money. Money really isn't everything if you end up miserable where you live. |

If possible take a trip to the area you'll be living at. From a beautiful wooded country place to a desolate dessert dry hot area may make a real difference to some, just know the world you'll be living in. |
